Chapter 301

Lashone the Pashlight into the room, and immediately saw Celeste sitting awkwardly on the floor, her face red and calling out to him.

He felt nervous closed the cabin door, strode over to Celeste, grabbed her hand, and tried to pull her to the safety seat.

Put Celeste font sat there, not moving

He got a imle angry and said “What’s the matter with you”

Celeste said pitifully. “My leg hurts, can’t move

Liam shone the flashlight on Celeste’s leg, which was covered with bruises from the impact.

No wonder she didn’t simply get on the safety seat. She was in too much pain to stand

“Here”

Liam handed her the flashlight Celeste lost her fight and obediently took the flashlight

Liam wanted to tease her, but seeing her miserable look, he swallowed his words.

He squatted down and picked her up.

Celeste had just clung to his neck when she suddenly froze.

Liam’s back was completely soaked.

In her daze, Liam had put her in the safety seat and fastened the seatbelt for her.

Right after he had finished, the boat shook violently again, throwing Liam out. Celeste only heard a muffled thump followed by Liam’s grunt.

Worned, she called out, “Liam!” Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Don’t move!” Liam gasped, “I’m fine. Just be good and stay put. Don’t cause me any trouble.”

Celeste shone the flashlight and saw Liam thrown against the foot of the bed.

His position was a bit awkward, but he seemed fine.

“Get to a chair quickly,” she said anxiously.

Liam was just about to get up when the boat started shaking again. He hurriedly grabbed the bed’s handrail to avoid being thrown again.

With the boat shaking non–stop, they both felt dizzy. Celeste, sitting in a safety seat, was disoriented, let alone Liam.

He couldn’t even stand up to cover the short distance. In the end, he grabbed a bed sheet and tied himself to the handrail to keep from flying

around the boat.

The rain outside became heavier, the wind stronger, and the rain pelted the window diagonally, creating a constant rattling noise.

But Celeste felt less scared with someone else in the room.

She couldn’t help but feel touched when she thought of Liam coming back under those circumstances.

She asked quietly, “Why did you come back?”

“This is my room. Do I need your permission to come back?” Liam glared at her impatiently, “Don’t shine the flashlight on my face.”

He didn’t say a single nice thing.

Annoyed, she pointed the flashlight in another direction and stopped talking.

She was too quiet, so Liam couldn’t help but say, “Why aren’t you talking?”

Seizing her opportunity, Celeste retorted, “Do I dare speak without your permission in your room?”

He felt both annoyed and amused, and finally said, “You never let yourself be at a loss. You asked me why I’m back now? If I hadn’t come back, you would’ve been knocked on the head and turn stupid. I don’t want to take a fool home after spending so much money.”

After a thought, he added, “Actually, you’re dumb enough without being hit. Any normal person would’ve stayed in the safety seat.”

She clenched her teeth and said, “I just wanted to see how Grandpa David was doing. Who knew the boat would shake so violently all of a

sudden?*

“Grandpa David is much more aware than you. The moment it happened, he put on his life jacket and sat in the safety seat.”
