Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)

Chapter 3451 Stirring Trouble

The big guy's words and the look of indignation on his face brought a hush over the crowd. Then, as if coordinated, they all took a step forward, speaking up in unison. "Show us proof that you had that much cash in your wallet, or we'll assume you're trying to scam our brother!" Matthew stood nearby, observing their united front, a flicker of satisfaction in his eyes. At least this group still had each other's backs. When trust was in the picture, everything else would naturally fall into place.

The thin man in front of the crowd looked shaken, taken aback by the big men advancing toward him. He took an involuntary step back, a flash of fear in his eyes.

"What are you all doing?! I came here with a good heart, offering ten Dornia Emeralds per crate, and this is how you treat me? Not only am I heading to the Island Watch, but I'll be bringing this up with Chief Falkrenn of the Emberhold Syndicate. Unlike you lot, he wouldn't sweep things under the rug!" Matthew's gaze narrowed as he watched from the edge of the crowd. So, this is what it's all about-this lost wallet business is just a ruse to stir up trouble.

"Well said! Men of the Veiled Assembly, I hate to say it, but..." A voice full of mock sympathy sounded from afar.

Matthew turned his head and spotted Casimir, dressed sharply in a tailored suit, strolling over with a dozen rough-looking men at his side. He gazed at the big men surrounding the thin guy on the dock with feigned regret. "This really looks like bullying." Casimir's appearance brought a glimmer of hope to the thin man's eyes, though it quickly faded. Matthew caught the entire exchange, sensing the set-up. This commotion was clearly a ploy for attention.

"Chief of the Emberhold Syndicate, have you come looking for trouble, waltzing onto our dock uninvited?" A voice thick with menace rang out on the dock.

Mack casually dropped a crate to the ground, his heavy brow fixed in a fierce glare at Casimir. Though Mack wasn't known for his intellect, he knew well enough that a rival chief showing up unannounced on his turn was an open challenge, mocking him and his guild.

Casimir met Mack's murderous

gaze with an unchanging expression, "No need for harsh words, Chief Hancock. I'm just here to see that justice is served. After all, it wouldn't be right for your men to bully others."

"Bullsh*t! We already said we didn't do it!"novelbin

"Chief, let's take this b*stard down!"

Casimir's words instantly stirred everyone around Matthew into an uproar, all of them glaring daggers at him.

Mack's face grew stormy, barely containing his rage. In the next instant his powerful frame lunged forward, closing the gap in the blink of an eye, fist hurtling straight for Casimir's face. en

Casimir's eyes narrowed slightly, a glimmer of amusement flickering on his face as he sidestepped, deftly dodging Mack's punch by a hair's breadth. And just as Mack's initial strength was fading, Casimir struck, landing a precise blow to Mack's muscled torso. The impact sent Mack stumbling back several steps, his face darkening.

"It can't be..."

"Didn't they say Falkrenn is a weakling? How the hell is he this strong?"

"No clue, but if anything happens to the chief, we'll attack together!"

The men of the Veiled Assembly, seeing Mack pushed back by a single punch, exchanged anxious glances, their hands already inching toward the weapons at their belts. "Well, Chief Hancock. Care to go again?"
