Flash Marriage Makes A Perfect Match

Chapter 301: You can fall in love while you work!

Severo stopped abruptly.

His dark eyes narrowed slightly and a cold aura shone under his eyes.

He just gave a deep look and withdrew his gaze, not letting Allyce notice.

When Severo arrived, he was ready, but when he actually stood in the “bathroom”, his brow furrowed into a small mountain peak.

It was a simple thatched hut with a few holes and a cesspit next to it.

Besides, the thatched hut was shorter than he was.

He turned and looked around and could still see the green and yellow dung pit of ….

He gritted his teeth and lifted the bucket, letting the water inside drip over his head, put on his clothes and went outside.

Allyce was outside talking to the owner of the house and was in the middle of a conversation when she saw Severo arrive and looked at him with a smile and said aloud, “Did you finish washing up?”

Severo froze for a moment before saying “yes”.

It had been a long time since I had seen him smile like that, and it was a smile that came from the heart.

Allyce’s gaze went to the top of her head and she let out a laugh.

She went up to him and removed some of the straw from his head: “You have this on your head”.

With that, he showed it to Severo.

He was wearing trainers and was at Severo’s shoulder level, and as he had just taken something off Severo’s head, he was very close to him.

So when Severo looked at her, it was as if he was about to kiss her.

“Girl, your boyfriend, huh?”

The owner of the house suddenly spoke up at that moment.

“No, Esme, he’s the owner of the company.” He was going to say president, but then thought that the owner of the family home might not understand, so he changed his words to say boss.

The owner of the family home was a woman in her thirties, surnamed Matías, whose husband had died in an avalanche a few years ago while cutting firewood in the mountains, and who lived with her two half-grown children.

Due to her long hours of work, she had an aged face, but she was frank and said with a smile: “The young man is tall and handsome, and so is the girl.

Allyce’s smile lingered for a moment: “Esme, you’re kidding.

With that, Allyce winked at Severo and left first.

Severo raised an eyebrow and followed her.

Once outside, Allyce said, “Esme was joking, don’t take it personally”.

“I think he has a good eye.” said Severo, leaning against a large rock to one side and sitting down, looking like he was going to have a little chat with Allyce.

Allyce pursed her lips and twisted her head to look away, forgetting him as if she hadn’t heard him.

Allyce suddenly thought of something else and asked: “Where are the clothes you changed out of?

Severo thought about the “bath” earlier and blushed.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“I haven’t taken them out. The truth is that it made him want to throw it away.

“There are no washing machines or dry cleaners here, all the clothes are done in the stream”. Allyce just wanted to tell him where to wash his clothes, and it was up to him to decide if he wanted to do it or not.

However, I don’t think she’s ever seen Severo do his laundry and it seems that all those fancy bespoke shirts and suits of his have to be dry cleaned …

Severo raised his eyes and spoke carelessly: “I can’t wash them”.

“Then take him home and wash him.” Allyce finished speaking and in the distance she saw someone from the company returning.

He feared that if he stayed with Severo any longer, there would be a misunderstanding.

He said goodbye with the words “I’ll see” and left.

Severo looked at his distant back, with a glint of thought in his eyes.

At midday, after lunch, Allyce and Ester returned to their lunch break.

Allyce headed for the door and suddenly stopped.

Probably because of what happened last night, he didn’t want to go in and decided to check on Severo.

He had been here for a few days and had gotten a little used to the yams and potatoes he ate here, and had brought some of his own food with him when they arrived. But it wasn’t as good as when he was in Cloud Cit, where he could eat whatever he wanted.

When he entered, he saw Severo sitting on the edge of the bed, expressionless, his face cold.

The contrast between the humble room and Severo’s designer suit was stark.

When he saw Allyce enter, the men who had followed Severo left the room.

Allyce felt a little uncomfortable and asked, “You’re not used to living there, are you? Then you should come back soon.

She always thought that the reason Severo was here had something to do with her.

Severo did not answer, but lifted a bag from his back and handed it to him: “Do my laundry.

“What?” Allyce thought she had misheard.

“Anyway, I don’t know how to wash them, and I didn’t bring any extra clothes.” Severo had a serious look on his face, but Allyce could hear only a hint of annoyance in his tone.

He added: “I’m sure Superintendent Delahoz won’t mind that little detail”.

With that, he pushed the bag he was holding into Allyce’s hand.

Very good, Superintendent Delahoz.

Allyce smiled as she handed the bag back to him: “But we only work together on business.

The laundry was too personal.

Since it was no longer possible for the two to be together, there was no need to increase the entanglement.

Severo’s face remained unchanged as he said: “Is Director Delahoz going to ask me to bother Esme, or her assistant?

No doubt Esme would be willing to help Severo with the washing, but they were here to make a film and a charity project, not to cause trouble for others.

And even though Esther was his assistant, Allyce couldn’t let her go do laundry for another man.

After all, it seems to be the only one.

Allyce took her clothes to the stream, threw the bucket on the ground with a clatter and turned to Severo: “What are you doing here?

“It is so enclosed and the jungle is so dense that there can be a lot of wildlife, I am here to protect you”. Severo finished and turned to pick up a tree stick from the side of the road.

Allyce could not refute his words, though they sounded unreasonable.

She was squatting by the river washing her clothes when suddenly water splashed beside her and soaked her clothes.

Turning her head, she saw Severo standing behind her, half crouched, holding the pole she had just forked into the water.

Allyce shook the water off her clothes and asked in an exasperated voice: “What are you doing?

Severo raised the pole in his hand before saying two words to Allyce: “Fishing”.

After saying this, he handed Allyce the fish that had forked off the end of the rod with a slightly flamboyant tone: “Look, I’ve caught it and I’m going to eat it”.

“Boring, you’re still a child!” Allyce twisted the corner of her coat, annoyed.
