Flash Marriage Makes A Perfect Match

Chapter 300: A white figure

Allyce’s hand hidden under the sheets involuntarily tightened.

He reached out a hand and fumbled for his mobile phone, only to remember that there was no signal here and he couldn’t get it out even if he had it.

Esther was asleep and it was not known how many people were outside.

Whether it was someone from the house she was staying in or someone else, she couldn’t be sure.

At that moment, the broken wooden door hissed.

Allyce ducked under the covers and peeked over the edge of the duvet.

Due to the darkness he was in, he could see the faint light from outside when the door opened, and he could faintly make out a dark figure standing by the door.

Only one person?

From this moment until now, apart from the door opening, and no conversation being heard, there should only be one person.

Allyce’s heart leapt into her throat.

He sat up violently, looked at the dark figure in the doorway, threw his phone violently at the dark figure and shouted, “Who!”.

The dark figure in the doorway paused slightly before turning and running away.

Ester woke up to hear Allyce’s voice and sat up in a daze, asking, “What’s wrong?

Allyce’s heart was pounding like thunder, the panic in her heart had yet to fade.

He said in the calmest voice he could muster: “Nothing, I had a bad dream”.

Esther was in the middle of a deep sleep when she suddenly woke up, and her whole body was terribly groggy.

Hearing Allyce’s explanation, and without thinking much about it, he rolled over and buried his head again to sleep.

After a few moments, Esther’s even breathing could be heard.

Allyce sat on the bed for a long time before getting up and going to close the door again.

The next morning was early.

Allyce got up early.

I had hardly slept during the night.

As he ate his breakfast, he watched the villagers without moving, each one did not seem like a bad person, but each one did not seem as simple and kind as he looked.

Esther looked at her with a worried face: “Superintendent Delahoz, you look very pale, do you want to go back to rest first? There’s not much to do today anyway”.

“Nothing. She didn’t want to stay alone in the room.

During the day, everyone in the village was working in the fields, the children were at school and she was alone when she stayed at home.

He didn’t know who the man was last night, or what he was up to, and he couldn’t take it lightly.

But it was hard to tell anyone when something like that happened.

Today’s assignment was to go and photograph elderly people living alone.

Although you will only be on camera for a few minutes, it is not difficult to film in a place like this.

And that old man, who lives alone, lives a bit far away.

They hadn’t even finished filming when someone ran to say someone was coming.

“What’s coming?” Allyce asked the visitor with a sidelong glance.

“A couple of men came, and as soon as they arrived they asked where Allyce was, looking for you”.

Men? Come to a place like this to look for her?Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Who could it be?

It couldn’t be Gabrio, he was a bit busy these days and couldn’t get away, and it was impossible for him to come here.

There were not many men he knew and, after eliminating them, he seemed to know who they were.

Allyce frowned in thought for a moment and spoke: “I’ll go with you to see.

Allyce followed the man to get closer and saw Severo, who was surrounded by the crowd.

Severo looked a little worse.

He was sitting on a rock, his hair slightly dishevelled, his suit jacket hanging over his arm, his black shirt unbuttoned by two buttons and his sleeves rolled up to his lower arms.

His face was a little tense, his thin lips pursed tightly, and against the sober black clothes, he seemed even more distant and unapproachable.

Only …

Allyce’s gaze drifted to the mud-stained leg of his trousers and she couldn’t help but smile.

There was an obligatory mountain road to reach the village, which could not be used by any means of transport and involved a four- or five-hour walk.

The man behind Severo suddenly looked over the crowd towards Allyce.

Then he leaned over and whispered something in Severo’s ear.

Then, Allyce saw Severo looking this way.

Seeing that she had located him, Allyce simply walked over to him.

“This is the partner of our company”.

Allyce approached and addressed a few words of courtesy to the villagers, who then went back to their business.

Severo’s men followed them and went to arrange accommodation, leaving Allyce and him alone.

Allyce nonchalantly kicked the small stones under his feet, slipped her hands into her jacket pockets and asked, “What brings you here?

Severo stood up, his gaze lingering on her for a moment.

Allyce was not wearing a skirt or heels because the conditions did not allow it, she was wearing a tracksuit, her long curly hair pulled back in a ponytail, and she looked youthful and pretty with a simple face.

It occurred to Severo that he would soon be thirty years old.

A sudden and indescribable feeling of sadness came over his heart.

He turned his gaze towards the distant mountains and said in a light voice: “Come and have a look”.

Allyce tilted her head, her eyes a little strange, and then turned to where the filming was taking place, saying as she went, “Come closer and have a look then, they’re filming”.

Allyce didn’t bother to find out exactly why she was coming.

It couldn’t have been a “glimpse”, as he said, because Severo was never that boring.

Not to mention this place, what there was to see.

Severo followed her without saying anything, looking at her ponytail that kept swaying as she walked, a trace of bewilderment in his eyes …

When the two arrived at the filming location, the boys were filming the last series and were about to finish.

Severo stared silently for a moment, then looked down at his muddy trouser legs.

With a slight frown, he turned to Allyce, “Come back”.

Allyce saw that she didn’t look very good and realised that she wanted to go back to shower and change her clothes.

However, the conditions here …

Allyce took him back to the village and only spoke to him when the time came: “The conditions here are not very good, you …”.

“You don’t even care, do you think I’d be less than you?” Severus growled and stepped forward towards her.

Allyce let out a laugh and glanced at his back before following him.

I had no idea that the villagers had arranged for Severo to stay in the same house where Allyce was staying.

As Allyce walked past the room where she was staying, she shuddered at the thought of the previous night’s events.

His face turned white and he hurried to Severo’s side.

Severo was sharp enough to notice the difference and asked, “What’s wrong?

“Nothing.” Allyce ducked her head slightly and shook her head.

Severo slowed down and looked back without moving, A white shadow was seen in the corner.
