Chapter 241: Silent Threats of Intimidation
Could it be that the man who was with Izar had something to do with Severo?
The report said he was a man of power from a noble family abroad.
…
Allyce’s mind was full of thoughts.
His eyes went back to his phone, saved the photos and went back to reading the comments.
One of the comments caught his attention.
“The man from Izar I know who he is! He is the current head of the Solares family in the Sea Country! My aunt met him before at a party in the Sea Country!”
The comment was crowned with tens of thousands of likes and thousands of follow-up comments.
Allyce opened it and the first comment was clearly from someone who didn’t like Izar: “I’m surprised that Izar has found a sponsor with such a big identity.
Although Izar and Allyce were rivals in love, Allyce thought that Allyce must not have been the type of person looking for a “sponsor”, and must have had something to do with Severo for him to have been so successful over the years.
And even if Izar were really looking for a ‘sponsor’, there is no way it would be picked up by the press.
The follow up comments below are all reprimands to the first to catch up.
“What you think in your heart is what you see in your eyes, don’t speak if you don’t know Izar!”
“What if the people are Izar’s father?”
“It feels possible, otherwise how could my Izar have been so gentle, and crucially beautiful and good!”
“…”
The comments that followed were almost all arguments, and Allyce didn’t bother to read any further.
Nice and good?
Why would she want to lust after someone else’s husband if she was so good?
Allyce took a deep breath, looked at the time and saw that it was already five o’clock, and headed angrily to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
He made a big pot of chilli sauce with rice just as he had looked it up on the internet, and ate it with such an appetite that he didn’t want to vomit.
Halfway through the meal, the sound of a car engine sounded on the other side of the door and Beef, who had been crouched at the table watching her eat, shot out.
Allyce had just put a spoonful of food in her mouth when she heard the sound and spat it out.
Severo had said when he left this morning that there should be no more spicy food on the table.
He panicked and put the bowl away, threw the rest of the rice in the bin and threw a handful of vegetables on top to cover it.
Severo wasn’t going to get bored enough to go through the bin, was he?
Allyce did so, quickly brushed the pot, removed all traces of it, ran up the stairs, grabbed her pyjamas and went into the bathroom. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.
Then he remembered why he was afraid of Severo, shouldn’t he question him about what he had been doing all day?
Allyce squeezed her temples, she felt she had become a complete wimp.
…
Severo parked the car in the garage before returning to the villa.
Beef happily circled around the lunch box he was holding …..
Severo stopped and just gave him a cold downward glance, and Beef collected himself a lot, but was still acting unusually cheerful.
Severo stretched out his long paw and gave him a gentle kick, saying in a cold tone, “Go eat your dog food, you can’t eat this.”
As if he understood, Beef blinked and cocked his head at him before heading for his kennel with his tail between his legs.
Severo crossed the hallway and headed straight for the dining room, where he placed the box on the table and turned to see Beef running with his bowl of dog food in his mouth.
As soon as he put the bowl of food on Severo, Severo “groaned” and started rubbing his paw ….
Severo realised in an instant that his frown had relaxed a little and his expression softened a little, “Good boy, this isn’t your dinner, I’ll make you something you can eat tomorrow”.
Beef walked away with his ears down and his dog bowl in his mouth.
…
Seeing no one on the ground floor, Severo went straight upstairs.
When he entered the bedroom, he saw that the bathroom door was closed and the light was on inside.
He approached the bathroom door, knocked on it and shouted Allyce’s name.
“Allyce?”
“…” There was no response.
“Have you had dinner yet?”
“…” No response yet.
Angry?
Severo raised an eyebrow and lowered his voice a little, “If you don’t talk, I’ll come in, and you know a padlock won’t stop me.”
He couldn’t help but frown, why did the bathroom in the room have to have a lock? There was nothing human about the design.
Allyce bit her tongue for half a day and was defeated by Severo’s words.
He gritted his teeth and said: “Can I have a quiet bath?
It’s annoying! It’s annoying not to come back, and it’s annoying to come back!
Severo did not seem to hear the impatience in his tone, and continued to insist on an earlier question, “Have you had dinner yet?”
“Yes!” fumed Allyce, shouting at him through the door panel.
Severo’s voice didn’t sound at all annoyed and he asked again: “Where are the results of the medical examination? Where did you put them?
Allyce said nothing, there were no medical results, she hadn’t even been there.
She didn’t answer and Severo didn’t ask any more questions, as if she had already left.
Allyce fumed for a while, took a shower and went out.
As he came out of the bathroom, he looked around the room and realised that Severo was not there.
Where had he gone?
Allyce was puzzled when a voice rang out from beside her: “What’s for dinner?
After a brief moment of surprise, Allyce replied: “Rice”.
“Where is the hot sauce in the fridge? Where did it go?”
Severo said and approached Allyce, his eyes darkening as he looked at her.
Allyce was standing in the bathroom doorway, her view obstructed, so she didn’t see Severo standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.
Hearing him ask about the hot sauce, she felt a little uneasy, though she told herself it was nothing, because of the great weight Severo had accumulated in her mind.
She ruffled her hair and played dumb: “Is there hot sauce in the fridge? I don’t know.
“Playing dumb?” Severus moved closer to her and reached out to cup her jaw, rubbing his fingers over it menacingly and silently.
Allyce looked away fearlessly and pushed his hand away, “What’s the point of pinching your jaw when you’re talking!”.
Severo narrowed his eyes imperceptibly and his voice was cold and deep: “Do I have to bring you the wastepaper basket?”
“…” Allyce had nothing to say.
Then she raised her chin: “What can I do if I want to eat spicy food when I spit out everything I eat? I am helpless too.
Severo almost laughed at this comment.
But when he said, “I’m throwing up everything I eat,” he frowned: “Show me the results of the medical examination, what did the doctor say?
“There was no medical examination.
“Why was there no medical examination?
Allyce put his arms around her and said earnestly, “I didn’t want to have a medical examination, it was a waste of time or I would have had to jump the queue, my wish was world harmony, so I had to do without it.”
“Allyce!” said Severo, anger hidden in his voice.
Allyce’s face became serious again and her voice cooled a little, “Where have you been today? Who were you with?”
