Flash Marriage Makes A Perfect Match

Chapter 124: I will remember you

“That’s fine.” Izar shook his head.

Severo nodded: “Thank you”.

Izar looked at him and spoke slowly: “I know that Allyce means a lot to you, and it would hurt you again if she was hurt …”.

His head was still wrapped in gauze, his face was pale, but his tone was willful, and it was touching whichever way you looked at it.

Allyce found it hard to believe that this Izar was the same person who had told her in the Delahoz group that “you don’t deserve it”.

The difference was too great.

He unconsciously leaned towards Severo’s side.

Severo’s eyes were on Ízar, but when Allyce approached him, he shook his hand with a backhand.

Allyce felt an inexplicable warmth in her heart, pursed her lips and bowed her head in silence as she listened to him and Izar speak.

“Our Izar is not like some people, she is a person of love, Mr. Betances …” Pia, who had remained silent, suddenly spoke up, but was interrupted in mid-sentence.

Severo looked at her from the corner of his eye, with an unfamiliar look: “Who are you?

“I …” Pia choked but pulled out a smile, “I am Pia, the Izar representative, we have met abroad.”

Pia’s eyes widened slightly, as if she expected him to remember her.

Severus gave him a weak look and then turned his head to Izar: “Since you’re well, we’ll go back first.

His eyes were indifferent and distant, and the concern that had appeared earlier seemed an illusion.

Izar’s hands, hidden under the sheets, tensed involuntarily and clenched tightly.

He struggled to control his expression: “Well, it’s getting late, you should go back to bed.

Allyce couldn’t say how she felt, it didn’t matter, it was Izar who saved her and she should thank him, but after Severo arrived, she felt as if Izar hadn’t really saved her.

The feeling …

It was as if Ízar had saved her on purpose so that he could approach Severo in name only.

Allyce was surprised at her own thoughts, Izar was a movie star and how important his body and face was, Allyce certainly understood, so she thought it was a small possibility.

“I’ll take care of the aftermath, you get well”.

Severo said, and pulled Allyce out, almost to the door, and then suddenly stopped.

Allyce looked at him uncertainly, but turned to Pia.

Pia looked flattered and surprised, and before she could say anything, Severo was already speaking slowly: “Pia, right? I’ll remember you.

And with that, he dragged Allyce with him.

In the living room, Pia was still frowning at the meaning of Severo’s words when she heard Izar snort, “Stupid”.

There was contempt in his voice, no trace of his usual grace and gentleness.

“Who are you calling?” Pia turned her head to look at her, “Izar!”

“You, of course, but who else is here?” Izar scoffed, “Severo is very concerned about Allyce at the moment, he’s a very protective man, and since you’ve been my agent for a few years now, I’d like to remind you to be careful.”

That said, Izar smiled to herself.

How could he not see how much Severo cared for Allyce, but how could he resign himself to the fact that he had met Severo first?

She could bear that Severo did not see her heart all the time, but she could not bear that Severo, who was not attached to anyone, had suddenly put another woman in his heart.

His words brought a flash of horror across Pia’s face.

Izar, seeing her like this, leaned back with his head cocked to one side as if in relief, his eyes slightly narrowed.

Pia pursed her lips and her face became a little sombre: “So what do you have to be proud of? So what if you’re an international film star? That Severo still doesn’t like you! Don’t think I don’t know that you deliberately pushed Allyce because you wanted to take the opportunity to get Severo’s attention”.

Izar’s eyes snapped open: “Shut up!

“I’ve got you there!” A smirk appeared on Pia’s face, “And they won’t even give you a second look.”

Izar turned his head to look at her, his eyes hardened with ice, like the substance, “And how are you better than me, just a dog kept by that man, just something he put next to me to spy on me.”

“You …”

Seeing that Pia was too angry to talk made Izar feel a little better.

He thought back to Severo’s reaction earlier and frowned; he was still acting cold, but at least he would look her in the eye, wouldn’t he?

She was sure that no one knew Severo better than she did, and Allyce and he had only known each other for a long time, and the more Severo looked at her, the better he saw her.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

What a simple Allyce!

……

When he got home, it was not too late.

Allyce hadn’t eaten anything at the hospital and now she was hungry as soon as she got home.

As soon as he walked through the door, he ran straight into the dining room.

As he ran, he asked Severo: “You said you made my favourite dish, where did you put it?

Severo followed her from behind and patted her on the head when he saw her craving: “Go and sit down, I’ll go and heat up your food.

“All right.” Allyce sniffed and obediently made her way to the table and sat down, waiting for Severo to warm up her food.

Soon, Severo had the food heated and brought to the table.

Allyce couldn’t wait to do it, but then she remembered that he had called her and told her that the food was ready, but that he had left for the hospital shortly after, so she hadn’t eaten yet.

With that in mind, he put the chopsticks down again.

When Severo came out after washing his hands, he saw her motionless and asked her: “Why don’t you eat?

“Waiting for you.” Allyce bit down on her chopsticks and looked up at him.

Severo was slightly surprised and sat down opposite her: “Now you can eat”.

After lunch, they returned to the dormitory.

Allyce showered and got straight into bed.

He had been working overtime for the past few days, and after what had happened today, the application project was not going to be completed for the time being, and he didn’t even bother to think about what was going to happen.

So, as soon as he lay down on the bed, he closed his eyes.

Soon after, she felt Pia’s swollen face hit by the ice.

When he looked up, he saw Severo sitting next to him.

Severo moved the ice pack, pressed down on the blankets and asked gently: “Does it still hurt?

“No.” Allyce shook her head, her mind already a little foggy, “Asleep.”

“Sleep, don’t worry about me.” Severo pushed her hair back from her forehead, his face unreadable, but his voice soft.

Allyce reached out to take Severo’s other free hand and closed her eyes in satisfaction.

As he watched his eyes close, Severo’s face clouded over.
