Carina
Alec’s POV
I laughed hard.
“What do we need to talk about, baby?” I asked with a blank expression, looking straight into her eyes.
“WHAT IS ALL THIS ABOUT?” She yelled above the loud music.
“It’s a party, Lynn Harris.” I laughed and my hand found its way to the waist of the girl standing next to me. She put her head on my shoulder, smirking at Lynn. The music volume had somehow reduced.
“I know that you fool,” She retorted. “Do you know that today is a Monday? I have classes tomorrow.”
“So what?” That didn’t come from my mouth. It was the girl on my side who said it. I smiled at her before turning to Lynn. I was enjoying the moment. An angry Lynn Harris was quite entertaining.
“I know,” I added, knowing it would only increase her anger.
“You have to stop this party or whatever it is right now or I am calling the police,” Lynn said trying to sound harsh but to me it just made her cute. Silver laughed loudly, after grabbing a drink from a tall girl who had been passing by. She scrunched her face at him but continued to walk away.
“The party is not over and you aren’t calling the police.” I said with authority. This place belonged to both of us, and therefore, we could both make decisions about it. I wasn’t about to let a girl walk allover me.
“Let’s wait and see,” She said and turned to walk out of the room. I left the girl on my side and grabbed Lynn’s wrist. I couldn’t let her get away.
“I want to have fun and I don’t want the police here,” I said with a serious expression. “Give me your phone”
“What?” She didn’t expect that but I was dead serious. Besides, I wanted her to get angry and maybe shift.
What is the use of having a female roommate when you can’t sleep with her? I believed the only thing girls were needed for was that and that heir company was boring.
“Give me your phone!” I demanded.
“I’m not your submissive, Alec.” She made it clear and tried to free her arm. The other guys were back to their business so there was no attention.Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
I pulled her close, holding her shoulders. She was breathing hard, probably not because of arousal, but anger. She was actually more than just angry. She could kill a man.
“OKAY” She finally gave up and dug into her pocket for it. She handed it to me just as the door opened to reveal Carina Freeman. She rushed to me, giving a very tight hug almost chocking me but it felt good.
Lynn was about to get out, but I was faster.
“Where are you going?” I asked her then walked fast to close the door.
“You know I need to sleep and I can’t stay here with all this loud noise,” She argued. “Open the damn door!”
Carina sighed.
“Where are you going?”
“I’ll sleep in Ross’s room,” She said softly.
“ROSS?” Carina gasped. Did she know him? I’d never seen her in the building before she came to see me earlier that day.
“Yes, you slut,” Lynn said.
Wait! Did I miss something? Lynn knew Carina?
“What’s going on?” Mark appeared next to Carina. He was taken aback when he realized who was next to him. He tried to hide the surprise but I could sense him getting uncomfortable.
“WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW ME?” Carina yelled.
“I saw you with Ross. You kissed him and now you’re with Alec already?” Lynn was calm.
What the hell? I thought Carina was only cheating on her boyfriend with me. Mark, Silver and I had all been wrong about her. She was not the principled girl we had thought she was. So, maybe it wasn’t my charms that made her sleep with me. She was a slut. What a waste.
Carina was speechless.
“Is this true?” I asked
Silence.
That made me like Carina less but it didn’t make a big difference because the girl was really hot. One of the best girls I’d slept with. Besides, I was angrier at Ross. Why did he always touch what I wanted? He got Lynn. He had already been with Carina. I just hoped he hadn’t gone any far with Lynn.
I was going to have her before him.
I would do anything. Too bad I couldn’t stop being so annoying.
“Well, Lynn you’re not going anywhere.”
“What the hell is your problem?” She asked. “I make my own decisions.”
She was so hurt that I wanted to let her out but couldn’t. I was reckless but I didn’t want to get involved with the police. I couldn’t even trust her to keep her mouth shut on getting out. She had to stay.
“Lynn please.” She was irritating me so much that I felt like slapping her. “If you can’t join the party, go to your room and sleep.”
“You’re really stupid,” She said and walked towards her door. I followed her and held her waist from behind as she opened the door.
Surprisingly, she didn’t shout at me or anything. She just opened her door and we entered. Is this girl planning to kill me in her room? I wondered as she closed the door.
She looked at me and gave me the surprise of the night.
Lynn Harris asked me to kiss her. My eyes opened wide.
You don’t believe it? I couldn’t either, but I wanted to do it. Whatever was turning her reckless was doing me a huge favor.
I pulled her close and before long, my lips were on hers. She slid her hands under my shirt and they were so cold making me hold her tighter. She needed warmth at that moment because she wasn’t fine. It’s very surprising that she was kissing the person who made her life miserable. This made me to think.
Did Ross do something bad to her?
