Chapter 69
Belli Tannu had to stop her car on the side of the road, get out, and follow after Aya.
Aya sprinted with all her might, sometimes looking behind, oblivious to a vehicle coming from the opposite side of the road.
The vehicle came around the corner as she hurried into the road, stunning her with its bright light…
Then came the piercing sound of tires grinding and clashing in the dark…
Belli Tannu was horrified as she stood by the roadside, stunned by the vehicle collision she had just seen.
Blood on the ground…
beneath the wheels
When Goden Bran exited the bathroom, Ava Lins sat on the bed, expressionless.
Her crimson eyes were full of hatred and inquiry…
“What’s wrong?” he said, his heart stiff.
He reached for her hand, but she pulled back, trembling.
She had no idea what Aya meant.
Belli Tannu?
Why?
This man saying sweetly to her, what was he hiding?
“Ava Lins, what’s wrong?
”
“Are you sick?
“Still grumpy?
“I just ask you, does Omi Lins’ matter have anything to do with you?” she murmured, her voice quivering violently.”
This question blew Goden Bran’s head.
His rigid and pale face was as if someone had spoken it, and the tears he had been fighting so hard to hold back quietly slipped down his cheeks.
“Why?”
“Why?!”
“Ava Lins, can you listen to my explanation?”
“You’re mistaken. Just listen.”
“Don’t come near me!” she said as he approached her.
Why did this guy, whom she adored, murder her brother?
“Goden Bran, I’m afraid of you.”
After that, she rushed downstairs and fled the mansion, crying.
Silence, save for his heavy panting.
Something pushed firmly on Goden Bran’s chest, forcing him to be unable to breathe.
He’s terrifying, she said.
Those words pierced his heart like icy darts.
His body looked to have been drained of all vigor, and his heart was similarly hollowed out.
She knew.
Did it imply they couldn’t go back in time?
He’d forgotten how it felt to weep, but what was that sour sensation in his heart?
Ava Lins had nowhere to go.
She hurried out in her PJs, destitute, with the cold wind stinging her…
It felt like tiny needles piercing skin and blood vessels.
It had poured so severely in an instant that everyone was saturated in rain, and she couldn’t distinguish which ones were tears and which were rain…
She stood there, soaked.
A huge light appeared behind her.
Then the car door opening.
When Ava Lins turned around, Jeorge Milton was going up to her with his walking stick.
He smirked and covered her head with the umbrella.
“Why are you here?” she questioned, her voice strangled with passion.
He sighed, gave her the umbrella, took off his jacket, put it over her, and murmured quietly, “I’ve been here all along.”
But she never noticed or saw…
“Let’s go,” he replied, wiping away the tears from Ava Lins eyes.
Before starting the car, the driver saw she was soaking and turned on the air conditioner.
He was always there.
He was anxious and wanted to see what was going on.
He noticed her weeping and rushing out from within…
Imagine Omi Lins sliding down the mountain and dying mysteriously.
She couldn’t sleep.
“Miss, can you look at Jeorge Milton for me?” Mrs. Ben asked Ava Lins as she headed down the stairs to say his farewell. He has a temperature. I need a doctor here. Can you care after him? ”This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
“Is he sick?” she wondered.
“He was coughing nonstop last night.” I’ll go check on him this morning, he’s sick.”
“Go get a doctor,”Ava Lins replied, seeing Mrs. Ben’s concern.
“OK, OK, OK. “Give him these tablets and water,” Mrs. Ben said, handing them to her. He won’t consume the medicines if I tell him to.
She grabbed the cup and tablets, feigned a grin, and turned around to head towards his room.
While sleeping, he coughed sometimes.
Emma Ellis entered and put the cup of water on the nightstand. “Mrs. Ben, I have said I won’t take any medication!” he added quietly.
His tone was tinged with disdain for medical
“How could you recuperate in such a short period without taking medicine?” Ava said.
Jeorge Milton spun around when he heard her. The gloomy expression on his face dissipated little when he saw her, but he coughed.
He made a fist and coughed incessantly while holding it to his mouth. Every cough was ferocious.
She gave him the water cup. “Drink.”
She attempted to seize his glass, but he held it with her hand.
Jeorge Milton knew she would attempt to sidestep to get away from him.
Ava Lins felt her hand was warm and strong…
His hands seemed to scorch her heart, yet she feared heat.
She attempted to seem cool and unconcerned. Ava Lins’ heart sighs just when he finishes the cup’s water. “I’ll go get you another glass of water,” she responded, withdrawing her hand.
He turned to go as he said…
“Ava.”
He yelled after her, his voice raspy.
She didn’t look around, but waited for him to say anything else.
She returned with a cup of water and sat by his bedside. “Mrs. Ben has already gone to seek a doctor,” she continued, handing him the tablet.
“I have some business to attend to,” she added, pausing but not lifting her eyes to his.
And how they harmed Omi Lins.
“I can help hou.”
“I’m going,” he murmured, passing her the cup of water as if she hadn’t heard him.
he asked for the computer.
Ava Lins nodded at the laptop on the living room tea table and noticed an envelope full of images.
She hadn’t intended to look, but the snapshot drew her in.
Instead, she reached for the photos, took them out, and gazed at them, her heart tightening.
Her tearful eyes mirrored the two in the picture, their grins piercing her heart and skin.
She carefully scanned the photographs, all of which included Goden Bran and Belli Tannu…
