Chapter 68
He scratched the place between his brows, the moonlight gleaming on his pained and disturbed face.
People constantly regretted not doing more after what had transpired.
Maybe he stopped Belli Tannu, or didn’t release go at the right time, and Omi Lins didn’t fall.
But it occurred…
Goden Bran will never forget Omi Lins’ look as he gripped his palm strongly.
Mrs. Ben exited the room. Jeorge Milton looked in from the door and saw Ava Lins already sleeping.
“I’ve told her so many things, but she simply disregarded me,” Mrs. Ben groaned.
“I’m ready to sleep now.”
When Mrs. Ben departed, she stopped at the door and stared behind her. She spotted her on the bed, her back to her.
Jeorge Milton lowered his eyes and turned to go.
Back in his room, he elevated and flattened his leg, wincing at the agony and the pallor of his lips.
His injury should have been quiet. A little hiccup may have revealed a concealed risk.
Jeorge Milton understood this situation would not be straightforward after today’s events.
Next day.
When Jeorge Milton awoke, Ava Lins had already gone.
She cleaned up the bedding in the guest room and went quietly.
He worriedly observed the void.
He wasn’t sure she’d accept this awful truth.
Goden Bran was asleep on the couch when Ava Lins came to the villa.
It was very chilly, yet he still wore just one shirt.
She went closer and carefully placed his suit jacket over his torso.
Just as she turned around, she was seized by the wrist.
He had opened his eyes and was silently staring at her. “You’re back?” he said as he sat up.
“Yes,”Ava Lins said, squeezing a grin.
She had no idea how uncomfortable her grin made Goden Bran feel, to the point that he wouldn’t even look her in the eyes…
He stood up, drew her close, and held her. “I’m sorry,” he hushed.
Ava Lins mistook his apology for his absence. Her eyes were already red, enabling her to embrace him.
When her phone rang, she finally pushed him away. She inhaled deeply and gripped the phone. She collected all her bravery to respond…
No corpse was located at the foot of the mountain, authorities added.
The cops may only search for three days before giving up…
Ava Lins sat on the couch after hearing the other party’s statements. She wanted to say something, but she couldn’t find her voice.
Goden Bran couldn’t even comfort her as she cried.
He could no longer stay cool.
He felt guilty. He couldn’t speak, so he just held her fast…
Swift clan.
Inside the room, a banging on the door was heard.
“Let me out, let me go see Omi Lins…”
Aya was trapped in a home. No windows in this warehouse.
She didn’t have a phone, so she was cut off from the world.
“Miss, please quit playing about,” the doorman said.
Just then, Belli Tannu strolled by, making noise. “Watch her attentively,” she told the servant in charge of Aya’s care.
She couldn’t let this tiny kid out. She had perfect vision. If the cops learned she murdered someone by accident, she’d be put to death.
Belli Tannu had no choice at this point. She could only go step by step for herself…
She had not anticipated this.
She didn’t want to murder anybody, especially Omi Lins. Because she had already taken this step, she would not wait for the police to investigate and arrest her.
The sky became darker…
The little room was finally silent.
Aya’s voice was practically hoarse as she sat dejectedly beside the closed door, holding her final breath.
“Let’s go…”
“Let’s go…”
Her voice was so hoarse she couldn’t hear. Nothing came out as she attempted to seal her mouth.
Then the door opened.
Locked Aya in the warehouse and risked expulsion. When she opened the door, she found Aya lying on the floor, so he immediately got her food and water.
Aya sipped from the cup, as if she had found hope in the desert’s water after almost dying of thirst.
In spite of their separate moms, Miss and Miss are sisters. How could she treat you like this?
“Eat something, Miss Aya.”
Aya thanked the servant, tears quietly streaming down her cheeks. How could she worry about food while the door was open? She pushed open the door and slid out.
“Aya!”
The servant yelled and banged on the door, drawing Belli Tannu’s attention.
She dashed downstairs and saw the warehouse door open. She approached to see, but the individual was not there!
“I simply…” she said hurriedly, as the situation became out of hand. I’d want to feed her. ”
“You sent her food!
”
Belli Tannu smacked the servant in a fit of hysteria.
Then she stared angrily at the servant, turned around, grabbed her keys,.
It was late at night and the road was empty. Only two rows of street lights were dimly lit…
Aya ran…
With all her power, she struggled to flee that dreadful house.
She knew she was close and didn’t want to be pursued. If she returned, it would be dark.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
She grasped her chest and glanced around. A phone booth stood in front of her!
She rushed forward, pulled a penny from her pocket, and placed it into Ava Lins’ phone.
Listen to the interior noises… BEEP…
Aya wept. Sister Ava Lins was worse than her.
She couldn’t stop crying as she imagined Omi plummeting from the mountain. She kept phoning Ava.
The phone finally rang.
Before she could even speak, Aya wailed hysterically.
“Aya?”
“Omi Lins, Ava Lins…”
“Sister Ava Lins, Omi Lins was slain by my sister and Goden Bran, I witnessed them dispute, and Omi Lins, was shoved down.”
“What?”
I was frightened of telling you, so my sister locked me up…
The phone unexpectedly went dead.
She sought to withdraw additional cash but just had one penny.
She could see Belli Tannu’s car arriving.
She raced away without making a phone call, her emotions tense.
Belli Tannu reprimanded her, “Damn girl!”
She talked faster to catch up.
