Raising her head, Nelly stared at him coldly. “Are you helping her?”

Alpha Zachary stiffened and denied it, “I’m not helping her…” As he said that, he looked around the area. “There are surveillance cameras all over this place. How are you going to explain yourself if something actually happens to her after you take her away like that?”

“This is my business! Hell to the cams, I’m the Alpha King’s daughter-in-law!” Nelly said, as if giving him a hint that she can get back to Alpha Kilian and be his luna and soon-to-be queen of werewolves too.
