Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

Nelly’s face burned with a fiery red hue, her emotions threatening to betray her. Despite this, she maintained an unwavering facade, closing her eyes before remarking, “She’ll misinterpret if we don’t venture forth now.”

Alpha Kilian, the formidable Alpha, pressed her forcefully against the cold, unforgiving wall as soon as she made a move to depart. “Let her misunderstand, then. You are her mother, and I, her father. This is an indisputable truth.”

Nelly gazed deeply into his intense, smoldering eyes.

He locked his gaze with hers and leaned in closer, inhaling the lingering scent of champagne that clung to her. Her flushed cheeks, particularly her ruby red lips, evoked primal desires within him.

With a gentle touch, he cupped her soft cheek. “The blush inhabiting your countenance is intoxicating, Nelly.”

And then, he bent down to claim her lips with a possessive fervor.

Just before their lips made contact, Nelly suddenly interjected, her voice filled with determination, “Have I been too lenient with you lately, Alpha Kilian?”

Her words caught him off guard, and he fixed her with a sharp, piercing gaze.

“I cannot promise anything if you take advantage of me once again,” Nelly warned, her voice unwavering.

Even in the midst of the heated moment, Nelly maintained her composure, leaving Alpha Kilian uncertain whether to laugh or weep.

But that was the essence of Nelly, wasn’t it?

“Did you not know that succumbing to a beautiful maiden is a blissful demise well-deserved?” Alpha Kilian chuckled.

“Do you wish to face your maker? I am willing to grant your desire.” Her hand shot out towards his face.

He captured her hand in his larger one, skillfully avoiding her wounds. “Are you contemplating murdering your husband?”

“Ex-husband,” she corrected, her tone laced with a hint of defiance.

His eyebrow arched, knowing well that she would seize any opportunity to remind him of that fact.

And then he uttered, “Nelly, I am sorry. Truly, I am.”

Nelly glanced into his eyes, finding only sincerity in their depths. “I never thought my heart would be captivated by a woman, let alone by you. Life is indeed ironic at times. I cannot let you go, Nelly. I don’t expect your forgiveness in this moment, but will you grant me another chance? Please, do not condemn me to death for a solitary mistake. Allow me the opportunity to make my case,” he pleaded.

Nelly never fathomed that the proud Alpha Kilian Morris would utter such words to her.

Certainly, his appearance and physique aligned perfectly with her desires, prompting her to dive headfirst into marriage without hesitation.

Yet, the pain and betrayal she had endured were undeniably real.

Though she concealed her anguish and did not succumb to fits of rage, it did not mean she was unaffected.Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

Nelly understood that actions carried consequences, and she believed she should be able to withstand them. Little did she know, it had cost her everything.

“Alpha Kilian…” Nelly began, her voice tinged with both gratitude and hesitation. “I acknowledge the many things you have done for me recently, and I am grateful for all of them. My hatred for you has diminished, but I fear I still cannot welcome you back into my life,” she confessed.

He regarded her with a hooded gaze, his heart clinging onto a glimmer of hope. “That is okay. It is my responsibility to earn your forgiveness. As long as you do not hate me, I will find solace.”

Her response sparked a flicker of joy within him.

“Hate?” Her eyes danced mischievously. “Do you believe we would find ourselves in this situation, with you taking liberties with me, if I truly hated you?”

He froze, unable to believe what he was hearing, his eyes never leaving her figure. “Nelly, do you mean-”

“Forget it. It is merely the effect your presence has on the dopamine levels in my body. Nothing more,” she quickly backtracked.

After all, she was an ordinary woman whose body naturally responded to the presence of a man. She felt no shame in acknowledging it. However, Alpha Kilian would misconstrue her words no matter what.

She does not hate me. In fact, she feels something for me. Yes, that must be it!

A cryptic smile played upon his lips as he watched her retreating form.

He hastened to catch up with her, his voice filled with a mix of determination and desire. “Nelly, there is no other man who will be with you as long as I still draw breath.”

Nelly did not dignify his words with a response.

Alpha Kilian regarded her with raised eyebrows and made a playful remark without breaking his stride. “If you have an abundance of dopamine or require assistance in other areas, I wouldn’t mind offering my services.”

“Well, I mind!” she snapped.

Tony, Ben, and Donna aimlessly roamed the area, searching for Nelly.

Tony and Ben, well aware of what had transpired, watched as Donna attempted to keep up her pretense. Ben couldn’t help but interject, “Stop leading us in circles, Donna. Tell us what you saw-”

Before he could finish, Nelly and Alpha Kilian emerged from the dressing room together and inadvertently crossed paths with the children.

Tony and Ben exchanged a knowing glance, fully aware of the truth that unfolded within the confines of that dressing room. Why hadn’t they exited separately if they wished to keep their actions hidden?

Ben couldn’t resist teasing, “Ah, so you were inside, Nelly. Donna claimed she didn’t see you, and we had to circle the venue.”

Nelly remained silent. Nothing inappropriate had occurred in the dressing room, yet Donna had exaggerated her findings, seemingly suggesting otherwise.

“Donna, your eyes must be failing you. Perhaps I should procure a pair of spectacles for you,” Ben continued, his eyes flickering back towards Nelly.

She turned and scowled at him. “You know nothing.”

Tony refrained from voicing his opinion, well aware of the crimson hue now adorning Nelly’s features. It seemed as though Mommy had given in.

“Why is your face so flushed, Nelly?” Ben persisted.

“I’m not,” she denied, her voice wavering despite her protest.

“Not? It’s plain to see. What were you doing in there? And why were you inside for so long?”

“What else could I possibly be doing? I was changing!”

“Changing? Together? With him?” Ben’s gaze darted back and forth between Nelly and Alpha Kilian before he let out a bitter laugh. “So Donna saw nothing when she entered?”

His tone and expression insinuated that he knew their actions were anything but innocent.

Nelly took a deep breath, preparing to respond, when Alpha Kilian stepped forward and playfully nudged Ben’s head. “You mischievous little devil. You knew what had occurred, yet you continued to inquire. Your mother is easily embarrassed, so cease your teasing.”

The words caught in Nelly’s throat. Why was everyone making the situation worse?
