A Relentless Pursuit for Love

Chapter 236

Chapter 236

Sage looked up and her first reaction was to think this, ‘Kids these days sure are tall.’

She could roughly tell that he was about 200 centimeters tall.

Puberty sure did help him well.

Not only was he tall, but he was also pretty handsome too.

He spotted a white basketball jersey with a white headband, his fringe drenched with sweat. His skin was a healthy tone of caramel, with a pair of doe-looking eyes; sparkly and pure. It had been a while since Sage had seen such a clear and pure pair of eyes. He felt like a clear blue sky after the rain without a single trace of pollutant.

Sage also found the young man’s facial features to be oddly familiar. It was as if she had seen that face somewhere prior to that.

Sage took over the smartphone and took the photo for them. A group of youthful teenagers posed childishly in front of the camera, beaming with smiles as they went, “Cheese!” “There you go.” Sage was about to hand the smartphone back to the teen when a couple of the boys urged on with a hopeful glint in their eyes, “It’s not everyday we get to see such a beautiful senior around, Come on, let’s have a group photo together!” “Let me join in!” The whole group of them gathered around and pushed some of the girls out. “Step aside and stop trying to steal the spotlight!” The girls left unwillingly, flipping the bird at the boys before walking away. What a bunch of lowly men, it was bold of them to assume any woman would look their way! One of the boys named Jimmy volunteered to take the photo for them when the loudest guy within the group spoke loudly, “Jimmy, come on over! You’re one of the best contributors, we can’t leave you out of this.”

He dragged Jimmy over whilst talking to Sage, “Miss, this guy here isn’t your average jock, he’s the MVP of this year’s National Basketball League. He’s about to be enlisted into the national team, he might even become an NBU star in the future!”

Sage looked over and gave the so-called future basketball star a onceover.

The basketball star smiled bashfully at Sage and flicked his mate’s forehead. “That’s enough, mate. Stop teasing me in front of our senior.” Jimmy then turned around and smiled politely at Sage. “Miss, please don’t mind them. They’re just overly friendly and passionate, they don’t have any ill intentions.” Sage smiled lightly, if she were to be offended by a group of mere kids, she would have said so already when the whole group of them pounced on her for a group photo earlier.

Sage rarely got any photos of herself taken, if she remembered correctly, her wedding pictures with Jace were the only pictures she had of herself.

Sage stood stoically like a statue during the group photo, her face expressionless.

Jimmy, who stood next to her, uttered out of nowhere, “Yo mate, I can’t seem to smile naturally. Tell us a joke!”

A boy who was squatting on the front row responded without hesitation, “What did the buffalo say to his son when he dropped him off at school? He paused to emphasize the punchline, “Bison.”This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
