We go over to the window where we can see the village below. It’s dark out now. I didn’t know that. He pulls out his phone to text someone and then points out the window. From the center of the village, the twinkle lights begin to turn on.

It looks like pixie dust from up here. Golden flecks of light glow in the design of the marks that almost ended both of us when James pulled the stunt he did. They cover the entire village lighting up the darkness up to the domes around us until they connect to the castle.
