Chapter 28
Stella Anderson!
How come his wife’s name was also Stella Anderson?
Was it just a coincidence?
“Yes, you heard me right.
Her name is Stella,” Lucia repeated while Matthew was in a daze.
“Why did you suddenly ask? Are you now more interested in her because you found out she’s a good woman?”
Matthew snapped out of it.
Instead of answering her question, he said, “It’s way past your bedtime, Grandma.
I’ll visit you one of these days.
For now, go to bed.
”
Without giving her a chance to speak, he hung up the phone.
Matthew turned to look at Stella who was still keeping her distance.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

He had seen his wife before.
This Stella was very different from the one he married.
Same name, but different people.
Stella was exhausted by the time she returned to her apartment.
After dragging her feet to the bedroom, she jumped when she saw a figure lying in her bed.
She held her chest and took another look at the figure.
It was just her best friend, Miley Cullen.
“Hey, girl! You almost scared the shit out of me.
Why are you here?”
Stella uttered, patting her chest with a smile.
Hearing the voice, Miley sat up abruptly.
She glared at Stella and complained, “You are a bad friend, Ella.
I can’t believe you didn’t bother to come see me after you returned.
And you ask me why I am here?”
With a pout, Stella moved to the bed and explained, “I’m so sorry.
I had to work overtime since the day I got back.
I wanted to be done with my tasks so I can have fun with you without worrying.
”
Miley’s anger deflated as soon as she saw the dark circles around her friend’s eyes.
“Get in here, girl.
” She opened her arms wide.
“What sort of a boss do you have? Why is he so mean? You only just started work there, but he’s already stressing you out.
What an evil capitalist!”
