Chapter 20: Criticisms
Chapter 20: Criticisms
Greta didn't expect that Maxwell would come here. She didn't want to see him.
"President Greta, what happened?" Maxwell rushed to Greta. He was worried. However, Greta glanced
coldly at him and said to Leila, "Turn him out of here."
"OK."
Leila replied and looked at Maxwell, "Please get out of here."
"President Greta, I...." Maxwell was about to say something when Greta glared fiercely at him and
shouted coldly, "Get out! Don't embarrass me."
Maxwell had no choice but to wait outside.
Greta held the phone and stared at the screen. She thought about it. She always had a feeling that
someone had been helping her secretly since the assassination at the entrance of the Sandoval Tower.
The person even knew the hotel room number, but she didn't know anything about the person.
Who was the person? Why did the person help her? Did the person know her?
Greta frowned. She couldn't figure it out. The number was displayed on the screen. She didn't know
who sent the message.
Greta didn't know why she thought of Maxwell. She was upset that she thought of Maxwell.
A strange thought appeared in Greta's heart. They were all humans. Why was the mysterious person
so different from Maxwell?
The difference between them was huge.
One had helped her secretly, but the other had made things difficult for her!
Maxwell was nobody.
When Greta walked out of the private room and wore a coat, Maxwell was waiting outside. He came up
to her and said anxiously, "President Greta, are you all right?"
"It's none of your business," Greta replied coldly. She wanted to turn Maxwell out as far away as
possible!
Every time he couldn't save her in time, he pretended to be worried about her after the accidents. She
felt disgusted.
"President Greta, what happened?" Maxwell was furious, but no one could notice that. He stayed calm.
"Why do you ask me? You have seen it," Greta sneered. Leila looked at Maxwell and squinted her
eyes. Leila also was unsatisfied with Maxwell.
Maxwell glanced at Greta. Greta's clothes were torn apart into pieces. Only the thin lace wrapped her
delicate body. Her snow-white skin was exposed. He was fascinated by her slender legs!
Maxwell looked down from her sexy clavicle to her plump breasts and slender waist.
Maxwell was fascinated by her. He couldn't look away.
"Stop looking at me!" Greta couldn't bear it anymore. She was about to go crazy when she saw him
staring at her so lasciviously!
Maxwell regained his senses and smiled embarrassedly, "President Greta, I'm checking if you got hurt."
"President Greta, where is Mr. Hal?" Maxwell asked.
"I don't know," Greta replied coldly.
Hal walked over from the end of the corridor. When he approached her, he slowed down.
Greta turned around and saw Hal walking over in panic.
"Mr. Hal?" Greta was astonished. Hal was in a sorry state. His face was swollen and his hands were
bandaged with gauze. Blood was oozing from the wound.
Maxwell looked at Hal coldly. Hal did all of that!
Hal slowed down and looked at Greta. "Greta, I've been attacked," he spoke in a hoarse voice.
Greta looked at Hal and frowned. "Have you been attacked? Who attacked you?"
Hal thought about it and said, "I don't know. A few hooligans held the steel pipes."
"Hooligans?" Greta felt relieved and didn't doubt Hal.
"Are you all right?" Greta stepped forward and examined Hal carefully.
"I'm fine, Greta." Hal glanced at Greta and became angry, "How dare they...?"
Hal looked at Greta's sexy body. He wanted to get her.
Leila didn't notice that. Maxwell noticed that and sneered.
"Call the police," Greta said and glanced at Maxwell. She disliked him.
"OK." Maxwell took out his phone. After calling the police, Greta said, "Get the clothes from the trunk of
the car for me."
After Maxwell took the clothes and Greta put them on, Greta looked at Hal and said in a charming
voice, "Mr. Hal, what a pity. It's not a good time to discuss about our cooperation. Let's meet tomorrow
at the company."
Then Greta turned around and walked towards the door of the hotel.
Hal watched Greta leaving and smiled.
One of Hal's men walked out of the room and said, "Mr. Hal, what should we do next?"
Hal coldly said, "It's not too bad. I hurt myself to get her trust." When he thought of Maxwell, he
sneered disdainfully. 'Maxwell was a loser. When I get his wife, he won't have the guts to save her!'
Hal couldn't understand why the Sandovals chose such a loser! NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
...
Greta changed into the new clothes and left the hotel.
Maxwell followed Greta and Leila until they got in the Maybach. Maxwell said, "President Greta, it's
getting late and there is no taxi. Please give me a ride."
Greta was angry. She was indifferent towards Maxwell. She looked up at Maxwell angrily, "How did you
come here? You can go back like that. Let's go!"
In the blink of an eye, Maybach rumbled and disappeared....
Maxwell smiled bitterly. The police car was coming. He smiled meaningfully.
