Chapter 561
Hera immediately hurried over and saw Emily, who was in her 50s, foaming at the mouth. She lay on the ground while continuously convulsing. Her daughter, Patricia Drew, kneeled beside her while desperately shaking her.
"Mom! Mom, are you alright? Don't scare me! Mom!"
The other patients who had been taking their medicine ran to the two sides of the room in terror.
Catherine, who had been treating patients in the consulting room, came out as well. However, Hera asked her to resume treating the patients before asking Isla to help handle the situation.
"Don't shake her." Hera went forward and stopped Patricia from continuing to shake Emily.
Hera remembered that the patient lying on the ground was Emily, who was here with her daughter, Patricia.
Patricia saw Hera and agitatedly tugged at her clothes. "Quickly check on my mother!"
"Move aside," Hera said calmly.
Patricia dared not be rude to Hera, so she obediently stepped aside. Instead, she unleashed her anger on Isla.
"Did you add dandelion root to the medicine? Didn't I tell you yesterday that she's allergic to it? This is what happens to my mother when she consumes dandelion root!"
Isla also remembered them and comforted Patricia, "Please calm down, miss. We're aware that your mother is allergic to dandelion root, so we've substituted it with milk thistle. Please calm down so that we don't disturb Dr. Shadow's treatment of your mom."
Patricia's eyes had turned red. She did not say a word while watching Hera conduct a check-up for Emily.
While examining Emily's condition, Hera noticed some residual medicine in a broken cup on the floor. She reached to pick up half of the broken cup and brought it to her nostrils to smell the remaining medicine.
She frowned slightly before passing it to Isla. "Keep this properly, and save some of the residue as well. Then, bring me my acupuncture bag."ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
Isla cautiously took the broken cup from her. "Alright."
"What happened to my mom?" Patricia asked anxiously.
Hera wiped away the foam from Emily's mouth while pressing on her GV-26. "Her allergies caused her to go into shock."
Patricia's expression instantly darkened. Just as she was about to hold the clinic accountable, Hera interrupted her.
"I'll give you an explanation once I've determined the cause of her allergies. For now, saving her is more important. Please move aside."
While speaking, Hera took the
acupuncture bag from Isla, who had just returned. She then instructed Isla to calm down the other patients who were here for their medication before administering acupuncture to Emily.
Throughout the whole time, Hera maintained a calm and composed demeanor. The other patients, who had been terrified earlier, all sighed in relief. Someone even secretly recorded the incident on their phone before uploading it to the inte. Severalizens immediately commented on the video.
"My goddess always remains calm no matter what. I love her."
"Wow! This is Youngworth Miracle Clinic, right? So, it is possible for Dr. Shadow to make a mistake."
"What happened to Dr. Shadow? Is anyone dying?"
"Are there any proper clinics or hospitals that haven't had a mishap this year?"
Although there were mixed reactions online, Hera remained unaware of the speculation.
After inserting three to five needles, Emily, who had been unconscious and convulsing earlier, stopped twitching. She suddenly woke up and vomited all the medicine she had earlier.
"Mom! Are you alright?" Patricia hurried forward, asking nervously.
After throwing up, Emily finally felt much better. Hera inserted a few more needles for her, and Emily's complexion returned to normal.
Hera wrote a new prescription
before calling Sarah over to prepare
the medicine again. After taking the medication, Emily's symptoms were completely gone. Hera even provided treatment to alleviate
Emily's allergies.
"Ms. Garcia, Ms. Drew, my apologies. It was indeed our fault for preparing the old prescription.
"To make up for our mistake, Ms.
Garcia can drop by our clinic anytime whenever she feels unwell. She doesn't have to book an
appointment, and the clinic ne
will
provide her free consultations for a lifetime," Hera said.
