Triplets for the Billionaire novel (Oliver Gusto)

Chapter 19

Chapter 19

Katherine stared at her phone in shock as Natasha's name flashed on the face of the device.

She was unsure as to whether to answer or ignore the incoming call. She was seriously warned but was honestly not expecting Natasha to reach out to her immediately, at least not tonight.

Kathie spent the whole time thinking of what to do that She failed to realize the phone would go off soon and when it did, she heaved a sigh but the relief didn't last long as Natasha called again.

Knowing She might probably regret her actions later on, Kathie still went ahead and answered the call.

"Why did it take you so damn long for you to pick up?" Natasha's angry voice came through.

Katherine frowned, looking confused. She had known Natty to be one of the sweetest people she had ever met so hearing her talk this way brought some really uncomfortable feelings to her.

"Wowww. Good evening to you too, Natty." This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

"Oh please, stop with the ridiculous greetings."

"Did you get run over by a truck or something?" Katherine snapped back at her too.

“Watch your tone, woman!”

“Don’t you pull that bullshit on me, Natasha. Me being calm doesn’t mean I will let you bully me. Where the hell are your manners?”

“You’re definitely of no good to my brother.”

“Says the blockhead that got no sense of respect.”

“So this is the real you?” Natasha mocked.

“Yes honey, this is the way I put people like you where they fucking belong.”

“Sis, Whatever issues you have, go settle with your brother and If you come for me again, I wouldn’t hesitate to give you what you ask for in a way that you deserve.”

“You’re just a fucking psycho.”

“Says the person who keeps shouting over the phone like a maniac,” Kathie replied rather calmly.

“You Bitch, stay the hell away from my brother.”

“You never seem to have a problem with our relationship. Where’s this hate and bitterness coming from?”

“Do I really have to give you an explanation for my actions?”

“Your brother chose me and if you have a problem with that, I suggest you go fuck yourself.”

“Listen, I know bitches like you and I won’t let you succeed with your plan. You’re only looking for some single man to put your silly responsibilities on.”

“Hell, you don’t even love my brother. You just want to make him responsible for those little devils. Stupid of me to have thought you were so different from your mother. Turns out you all are the same, manipulating men to push your responsibilities on.”

“Shut your fucking mouth, Natasha. Shut the fuck up and keep my kids the fuck away from your mouth. You don’t even know me and yet you are, comparing me to my mother.”

“Chill, my mother is even fucking more responsible than you can ever be. You can hardly even keep a relationship and yet you’re interfering in your brother’s own. You must be so terrible and that is

why you’re still single at 37.”

“Shut the fuck up. I’m not done with you.” Kathie stopped Natty when She wanted to cut in.

“I hate myself for having so much respect for you. Never did I imagine you would possess such a shallow mind. What fucking responsibilities do you think I would ever want to put on your brother? Do you know how much my kids hate the two of you? You are just a psycho.”

“I don’t care about any damn thing you say. Just stay the hell away from Lewis.”

“And if I don’t.” Katherine Challenged, wishing this conversation was face-to-face and not over the phone.

“Don’t you dare me, Katherine!”

“Oh, please. I know you can’t do anything.”

“Oh, then you’re free to disobey me after which you would see what I’m capable of.”

“Consider it done because you’re not capable of doing shit. I’m not one of your puppets who would fall for your empty threats.”

“Stay away from my brother, Katherine.” She said with venom in her voice this time around.

“You might as well come take the ring off my finger.”

“Oh trust me, I wish I was there to do that right now. I bet he spent a lot of money on that. Stupid Lewis.”

“I never knew you could be this jealous and bitter, then again, what do I expect from a maniac like you?”

“Instead of interfering into your brother’s affairs, you could actually make good use of your time by opening an account on dating apps. Who knows, you might be lucky to find someone who wants to attach themselves to a pathetic person like you.”

“YOU BITCH!!!” Natasha literally yelled.

“You honestly need help and I hope you find one. Don’t you dare ring me again!!! Dickhead!!!” Kathie said after which she ended the call.

.............

“Who the hell were you fighting with on the phone?”

“Oh God, Not again! I’ve had enough for today.” Kathie mumbled before turning around to face Beatrice, her mother.

“You are always this mad to one person and that is me. Who annoyed my daughter? Talk to me baby, You know you can always count on me to fight for you.”

Katherine internally rolled her eyes at her mother. “What do you want, Mom?”

“You’re not going to answer me?” She said, sounding hurt.

“Please stop acting like you care.”

“That’s the problem with you darling.”

Katherine frowned.

“You claim I’m not nice and motherly but when I try to do any of it, You indirectly mock me and bully me out of it.”

Katherine sighed, massaging her temple. “Mom, I’ve had a really long day and the only thing that would make me feel better is to go join my kids on the bed so if you have anything to say, just please say it so we can get it done with.

“Who annoyed you?” Beatrice asked again.

Knowing her mother wouldn’t let go of the conversation, Kathie opened up. “Natasha!!”

“That bitch!!!! I knew she would be the one. I bumped into her at the restaurant today. She tried to play smart but trust me to humiliate her.”

“Mom, what did you do?” Kathie groaned.

“Smile baby, you would be so proud of me.”

“You created a scene, didn’t you?”

“That bitch asked for it. She thought she could humiliate me but She humiliated herself.”

“My friends and I were having dinner and making conversations about the upcoming wedding when she showed up by our table and decided to make a fool of herself. She tried to ridicule me and even brought you into the conversation.”

“I may be a very bad and shitty mother but nobody talks about my baby in a very ill manner.”

“I may not appreciate you enough or be there for you enough but I see how you are pushing through and making things work for you. I’m the shittiest grandmother ever but I see how you’ve taken the role of a mom, dad and grandparents for your kids. How old are they? Six, seven, eight? For the past years, you’ve brought them up alone and you did good.”

“I may not say this enough because of my pride and ego but I envy you, girl. As a self-centered person, I could hardly raise you on my own but see how you’ve done beautifully well with your kids.”

“Girl, I see how you’re trying, I see how you’re putting things together and how you’re trying to give my grandkids the best of the best. I see the efforts you put into making things work. You don’t expect me to just sit there while some lunatic called Natasha says trashy things about you.”

“Natasha of all responsible people in the world? She can’t even do 1/3rd of what you do. That girl is a real psycho. Dorcas was this close to beating her up. Are you sure you want someone like that as your Sister in law? She really sounds like someone who does not want you to have anything to do with her brother.”

Katherine tried her best to hold back her tears. She had no idea why but as someone who hardly receives any help, compliments or praise from her mother, She was moved by Beatrice’s speech and could see the pride in her eyes as she spoke. Yeah, It was a validation to her that her mother was proud of her but She knew her mother would not admit it to her face.”

“Yeah, thank you for standing up for me.

“Sure, Natasha’s nothing but a gold digger so she deserved every insult she got. Are you sure you still want to marry her brother? Because once a sibling begins to act like this, trust me the other one is like that too.”

“I know the ring he gave you is very gorgeous. Finer than mine which makes me a bit jealous but a good marriage is better off than any form of distress.”

Katherine rolled her eyes at her mother. She just had to ruin the moment. “Says the person that’s getting married for the 6th time.”

“Exactly!! I’m experienced so you should learn from me and take my advice too. You shouldn’t make the same mistake I did. Men are motherfuckers anyway.”

“Today has been a lot, Mom. I just want to go to bed. First.”

“Just think well about it, baby.”

“Yeah and back to why I came to look for you. I spoke to Oliver today.” Beatrice had smiles all over her face.

“And what does that have to do with me?” Kathie managed to say, pretending she wasn’t affected by whatever the hell her mother discussed with him.

“You needed to hear his voice. Goddddd, so heavenly. His voice almost made me cum. I can imagine how good-looking he must be by now. My baby Ollie, I missed him so much.”

“Is that all? You might as well fuck him when you see him.”

“Don’t be ridiculous Kathie,”

“I’m not. You and his father are no longer together. You might as well start fucking him. You’ve become sexier too over the years so I’m sure he will find you very attractive.”

“Really, he would find me attractive?” She said excitedly.

“So, you’re thinking of starting your wedding with extramarital affairs? You need help, mom. If you have nothing else to say, I’ll retire to my room.

“Don’t be a hater, darling. I’m just really excited to see him again.”

“I also offered that he stays at our home instead of renting a hotel.”

“You did what????” Katherine stared at her mother in horror.
