Chapter 31
Chapter 31
The second that I saw him I froze, my whole body telling me to run or something. But then the more abrasive side of me told me to use my long endured skills and attack.
I'm a pretty abrasive person.
He stood there smiling at me, his pale skin and chiseled looks wandered me appreciatively.
"talk? You son of a fu-" I started.
He was on me in an instant, his hands covering my mouth, as he shushed me.
I was about to beat the living hell out of him, but curious got the better of me. I was desperately wanting to know what he wanted.
He smiled, knowing that he had gotten my attention, and let go.
"What the fuck do you want?" I said, my voice hissing.
His mischievous eyes twinkle, and he gave me a bleached white smile.
"Hush little girl, you wouldn't want to alert your...friends." His voice was slow and steady.
You're. A. Fucking. Prîck.
"What the fuck do you want?" I bit out.
"I want you to know, that this isn't over. In fact, this is just the beggining, of what is going to be a very long, and gore filled life for you. All of your friends will die, your acquaintances, everyone that you've ever cared about. This is just more than a pretty little girl, with some tricks." He looked at me, and continued, "Grey Aleksei Dante Ravenwood, you are entering one hell of a life. The Mafia doesn't play games, the real world is nothing like the CIA."
My blood froze.
His pasty pink lips curled upwards, his good looks smirking back at my bewildered expression. Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
"If you want to save the people you love." His eyes flickered to Sin's door "Or the people that you care about. I can help you."
He handed me an untraceable international cell phone.
"You know where to reach me." He leaned in, I was too shocked to react as his lips pressed to my ear, "Be careful, you have no idea what's going on." His hot breath whispered as he turned on his heels
All I heard then was a soft "Arrivederci." and he disappeared before my eyes.
I swallowed, taking in what he had just said.
I didn't know what was going on.
He knew who I was, who knows how long he's known. But he didn't try to kill me. He said I didn't know anything, and that there was so much more going on than I knew.
I tried my best to take slow and steady breaths, as I remained frozen in the spot, where someone who I assumed wanted to kill me, just admitted to trying to save my life.
