Chapter 1913 To Hannah

However, the reality was that Yulia went straight for the kill. Cindy thought about it for a moment, then she asked, “What should we do then? Will you bring this up to Hannah?”

“Yes.” He was about to do it anyway. He wouldn’t take this anymore, and he didn’t care what Hannah had to say about it. Fortunately, he wasn’t going to work in the industry forever. He knew what he could achieve anyway. He wasn’t a great singer, and even if he wanted to star in a drama, he couldn’t act well, since he wasn’t professionally trained. He was a jack of all trades, and since he had enough money, he could live well even if he retired now.

Cindy thought about it, and she also felt like that was the best way to go.

Let’s see what Hannah has to say. Even if she is friends with Yulia, she’ll still put the company’s interest first. I don’t believe she’ll tell Ian to give in. She’s not like those directors.

After they came back to their unit, Ian removed his makeup and gave Hannah a call. However, he didn’t do it in front of Cindy. Instead, he went to the room and closed the door.

Cindy didn’t want to eavesdrop, so she sat on the couch and held the pillow. She then turned the TV on and upped the volume.

Ian’s call lasted for more than an hour. When he came back out, he was already changed.

Cindy stood up. “Are you going out?” This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Yes,” Ian said. “Wait here. I’m meeting up with Hannah and clearing things up.”

Cindy was worried. “Why don’t I go with you?”

Ian headed straight to the foyer. “It’s alright. Just wait for me at home. She might be more agreeable if you aren’t around. I’ll see what she has to say, and then I’ll tell you about it.”

Cindy paused for a moment, and she agreed to it. She sent Ian off, and after he went down, she sighed and went back into the house. Since it was early and she had nothing to do, she sat on the couch.

It was nearly lunchtime, but she had no appetite, and she wanted to eat nothing. A while later, her phone rang, and she took it quickly, thinking that it was from Ian. However, she calmed down when she saw the caller’s name. Aurora? She composed herself and took the call.

“Hey, Cindy. What are you doing? Are you busy?” she asked, but she didn’t sound too happy.

“Oh, I’m just lazing around at home. Are you home, Aurora? Wanna come over?”

“Sure. Give me a minute. I need to talk to you.”

Cindy could guess what she wanted to talk about. Well, if she sounds so unhappy, then it must be about that guy. Oh wait. I forgot to tell Ian about it. Cindy waited at home for a short while, and Aurora came over.

The moment she came in, she blabbered, “Honestly, what is that guy thinking? Does he really think I’m stupid? How could he even come up with those lies? Does he think I’ll buy it? He’s probably the only

one who would believe his own lies. And he even asked me why I got so mad. What a fool.”

Cindy wasn’t feeling too cheerful either. She closed the door and went to sit with Aurora.

Aurora looked around. “Ian’s not home? Where is he?”

Cindy sighed. “He went to the company. He has something to talk about with Hannah.”

Aurora didn’t think it was trouble. Ian was about to start a shoot soon, so it was normal that he had to talk with his manager. “I see.”
