CHAPTER 29
Traizle
“I am still sleepy.” I muttered as I was sending Lyndon and Layzen off to their schools.
“Who told you to stay late last night? None, right? So don’t bother complaining.” Lyndon replied, scolding me.
“You know you have to work tomorrow morning, but you still stay late? That’s not good, Traizle.” Layzen added, also scolding his older sister.
I can’t sleep. I couldn’t concentrate on my work last night after delivering the order to Arias, Zarsuelo’s friend.
Am I to blame?
Of course no.
It is his fault.
For making me sleep late.
An unexpected confession can really make you lose concentration throughout your work. Tell me who can still concentrate after that, I will congratulate them big time.
After sending them off to their schools, I am now on my way to the Snack Bar.
After what happened last night, I promised myself that I would make sure to look at their names. I’ll see if the name is a threat to me or not. To make sure nothing like last night will happen again next time.
I still have to talk to the owner about what happened last night. I can sense something is wrong with her as well and I will look into that.
When I got to the Snack Bar, the owner was currently talking to a man. She is also holding a folder-wait? Are they in the middle of an interview?
Woah. I didn’t know that the boss would really find one this early, huh.
“Boss! Morning.” I greeted, getting their attention. The boss quickly looks and smiles at me, waving the folder she is holding. “Interview?” I asked.
“Yes,” the owner answered. “Anyway, she is one of our couriers.” she added, introducing me.
“I thought that work was only for men. It was nice to see some changes,” the man shared. “By the way, I am Archane.” he added, introducing himself to me and offering a handshake.
I immediately accepted his offer. “Traizle.” I replied, introducing myself as well.
“I will call you if you are already hired, so please wait for my call, okay?” owner reminded him.
I feel like I can’t call him by his first name.
“Oh, that’s good. I think I will be able to work here soon, hearing the owner’s statement gave me assurance already.” the man answered playfully.
He gives me the vibe that he is not an ordinary person.
I can’t tell if this is an ability of mine or what, but I have this instinct that I am always right when it comes to determining if he is rich or not.
There is no situation where I predicted it wrong, and sometimes that scares me HAHA.
How he talks and sits in the chair is so well-mannered, unlike some of the customers who are sitting beside him.
Maybe he grew up in a rich type of household or his family is doing well.
“Let’s work together soon.” he said, snapping me back to reality.
I should stop thinking deeply. My mind wanders too much, and sometimes I forget that I am in the middle of a conversation.
I nodded my head at him. “I hope so.” I replied.
He stood up from his seat. “I will go now,” the man said, bidding his goodbye. “Boss! Make sure to call me. I will be waiting.” he added, before heading out of the Snack Bar.
“Do we have any orders for now?” I asked the owner, who is now entering the counter.
Shaking her head. “None,” she replied. “Isn’t he handsome?” the owner added.
I look at her smiling brightly while wiping the counter’s table. The man just hooked our owner’s heart and I think the owner has a fragile heart.
Every time we have a handsome customer, the owner will definitely smile brightly, like what she is doing now.
“Boss, about the order last night. The first one.” I shared.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.
I can already see the uneasiness in her reaction. I knew she knew something about what happened last night.
“By your actions, it shows that you know something I don’t,” I added, looking at her directly. That made her avoid my eyes. “Care to explain everything, Boss?” I asked, almost interrogating her.
She sighed heavily before looking at me. “Will you get mad at me?” The owner asked me.
“I need to know the story first before deciding if I should get mad or not.” I told her.
The boss put the rag on the side and sat in front of me. “The one who ordered last night was Aiden Arias. Do you happen to know him?” The owner asked me.
“I just knew and saw him last night,” I answered. “I also know that he is friends with Zarsuelo.” I added.
“Yes, he is,” the owner replied. “I just got to know him last night as well. He told me he wanted to help Matthew,” she added, now looking down to avoid my gaze. “He said, he wants you to talk to Matthew. He also requested that you are the one who will deliver their order.”
“So you told him okay as soon as he said that?” I asked, surprised.
The owner shook her hands. “He gave me a tip. I am sorry about that.” she explained.
That is much better than doing it for free.

“I am not mad at you. If ever they try to do it again, then ask for money more. Make use of that chance and think of it as your other work.” I told her, giving her some tips.
“Did you guys really fight?” The owner asked. “The last few days, when he was visiting you, you never dared notice him or talk to him. You even stop working at his company.” she added.
“If it is called a fight, then it is. I just don’t want to talk to him. The more we talk, the longer our bickering will last. Working at his company is stressing me more, so I don’t think I suit that work.” I explained briefly.
“I think you guys should really talk about it.” the owner responded.
