The Moon and The Ocean

CHAPTER 43

CHAPTER 43

THIRD PERSON'S POV:-

Zeus put the teddy bear back into that box. He then grabbed all the letters she had written for Zeus. He opened a card she had made for him.

Dabria: The best day of my life when I saw you for the first time. You are the sunshine of my life. You are dawn for me. Without you, I am incomplete. You are the only one and you will always be the only one till the last breath I will take. I love you, Zeus. And I can die for you.

That was what she had written into that card. It was her confession card. She confessed her love for him into that card. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

Dabria: Zeus, please don't do this to me. I beg you. Don't push me away. I will die if you do that. Why do you hate me so much? Tell me, am I ugly? Is that the reason why you hate me? Please Zeus, you are my hope. Don't take away my hope. Please come back. I will do everything you would ask me. I would even become a slut if you want. But just don't go away.

She wrote that letter to Zeus when he was going to Pennsylvania. She even asked him to take her with him. But he did not. He went away alone. Leaving her in the hell she wanted to run away from.

Zeus heard a knock on his bedroom door. He looked up and found Moon standing. He forced a small smile on his face and nodded his head. With his permission, Moon stepped into the room. He went to Zeus' bed and sat beside him.

Zeus: Do you still hate me for doing all that to Dabria?

Zeus asked his brother as he held the teddy bear in his hands and kept staring at it.

Moon: You hate yourself for doing everything you have done to her. I can not help it, Zeus.

Moon replied in a low tone. Making sure he would not hurt his brother more than he was already hurt.

Zeus: How do you know that I hate myself for everything I did to her?

He asked Moon with a frown on his face.

Moon: It's obvious, brother. You have not stepped into this room ever since she left crying. You kept all those things she had left. You don't even live with us. In all those years, I have found my mate but you don't even look around for yours. I would have denied all this but I am not blind. I can see the way you behave with Ocean. Although you think of her as your sister but her innocent face and her stubbornness reminds you of Dabria. Did you think I would not notice that?

Moon replied in an obvious tone and Zeus nodded his head. He sighed and put everything back into the box Dabria had left before she went away forever. He pecked the box again and put that back under his bed.

Moon: Listen brother. You don't have to do anything that you don't want to do. We will find another way to defeat that bastard. But please, don't force yourself for me. You are my brother. I will not be happy seeing you unhappy.

Moon said and Zeus nodded his head.

Zeus: It's not just that. I need to do that. I knew one day it would be on my plate. I just did not expect it to be so late. Let's just say, it will ease my pain as well. Let me do it, brother. Maybe not for you but for me. Just promise me, you will take care of Ocean.

He asked Moon and Moon nodded his head. He pulled Moon in a brotherly hug and patted his back. Zeus then broke the hug and stood up. He nodded at Moon then stepped out of the room. He went back to his car, hopped in and drove off.

Zeus stopped his car in front of the cabin of Hellenora and hopped out. He went to the door and knocked it twice. The door opened in a minute and Zeus was invited in. Zeus knew that Hellenora would be inside her living room. Without wasting another second, he went straight to the living room. Hellenora was sitting on one of the couches.

Hellenora: I thought you would take more than a day to leave everything that you love more than anyone's feelings. But you came back just in three hours. That's impressive.

Hellenora taunted Zeus in a sarcastic tone. She signalled Zeus to sit down and he nodded his head. He sat down on the couch in front of her.

Zeus: I know better that I can not run away from it. Not anymore. I knew one day it would be on my head. I just expected it to be earlier. But I guess I was wrong. I just want to know, why now?

Zeus honestly replied to her then curiously asked her a question.

Hellenora: You were not guilty enough before. Ocean, she was the one who made you feel that guilt that you had buried deep in the core of the earth. Did you think that mother nature will never spit it out on your face again?

Hellenora taunted him again and he just nodded his head guiltily.

Zeus: I deserve all that. Will you honestly tell me something?

He asked her with a hope filled tone. She nodded her head and signalled him to ask.

Zeus: How is she?

He asked her but did not dare to look into her eyes. Hearing his question, she started laughing hysterically.

Hellenora: Living that same life in that hell. In a different way. You know, it's not easy for an innocent person like her to deal with demons. I can't believe that you hurt her this much. But don't worry. One day you will meet her. That day you will realize how much you have corrupted her. Till then, you have to wait and cope up with your guilt.

She replied and he nodded his head again.

Hellenora: Don't worry, Zeus. Those are your sins you are about to face. Your baby brother Moon and his innocent wife Ocean, along with your whole family. They did not do anything to deserve any kind of punishment. Even if it gets out of their hands, I will jump in and kill Valtor myself. But just for you to know, I won't let him destroy those innocent lives.

She reassured him and he forced a small smile on his face.

Zeus: What do I have to do?

He asked her, making his final decision.

Hellenora: Just get ready for your punishment. The rest will be taken care of. I promise you, they will not get a single scratch. I will be responsible for their security. All you have to do is to write a goodbye letter for your brother and get ready.

She replied and offered him a pen and a notebook. He nodded his head and took the pen and the notebook. He wrote a letter for Moon, to explain everything to him. With final goodbye, he gave the pen and the notebook back to Hellenora. She took it from him and nodded her head.

He stood up and nodded his head. She also stood up and handed an empty glass to him. He held the glass tightly with both of his hands. She started chanting a spell again and again. Zeus felt a sharp pain inside his body. Due to the unbearable pain, he was unable to hold the glass. The glass fell on the floor and broke into million pieces. Hellenora kept chanting the spell. She did not stop at all. Soon, a bright

light filled the room and blinded every living being in the room and also outside. Hellenora stopped chanting the spell and went to her bedroom. She pulled a box out of her closet and blew the dust off of it.

Hellenora: It's time.

She thought to herself.
