Chapter 350 Reversed Situation
Chapter 350 Reversed Situation
Joey cast a glance at Yolanda and Vivian with a cold and mocking sight. Then, facing the guests
around, she threw her hands open shaking for a while, and said, "Hey everybody, please look at my
hands!" NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
Hearing that, everybody paid attention to her hands. It was what a pair of fair and slender hands that a
great number of men had already been deeply attracted. It should be known that women's wonderful
hands are as seductive as their slender legs.
However, they were just confused by the surface, and only Samantha clearly understood what she was
trying to express.
"Your ring…", Samantha pointed at her bare hands in astonishment, "Why is your ring gone too?"
Not until reminded by Samantha, did all the guests realize that her ring had indeed disappeared.
After all, the moment she came on the scene with Allen, everybody had seen her magnolia diamond
accessories. Her earrings, necklace and ring were totally the same as Vivian's, but she showed a
different style. It was so bright that nobody could forget.
"No! It is not missing but…" She raised her hand and got the ring back from Vivian without mercy, "This
ring essentially belongs to me. Just now a waiter spilled a drink on my arm by accident, so I went to the
ladies' room for cleaning up. Then I took it off and placed in my bag when washing hands, but
somebody just stole it and claimed that it was hers. So, I think you guys should make it clear who is the
shameless thief now."
The situation was reversed with that.
Her words changed herself from suspected thief to victim and ring from booty to her own possession.
The guests eventually realized that they had wronged her.
Seeing that, Vivian was anxious that she was clearly calling white black.
Such anxiety placed Vivian in a muddle. She pointed at Joey and shouted," You are lying! This is my
ring and it belongs to Yolan…"
Vivian nearly spoke it out that she witnessed Yolanda placed it into the bag.
Not waiting for her to finish the words, Yolanda rushed over and pulled her back with a glare. Then, she
turned around and coolly asked, "You claim this is your ring, but why should we believe you? All the
guests present have known that your ring is totally the same as my sister's. Perhaps it was just a way
for you to cover up your guilt and your own ring has already been hidden."
Even though she said so, she was secretly painful and worried.
She only focused on whether Joey had touched that bag but forgot to pay attention to the ring on
Joey's finger. She could never imagine that Joey was able to turn the tables and she should be
responsible for looking down upon Joey.
Without any concession, Joey stared at Yolanda's eyes, stepped forward and said, "As you said, my
ring is totally the same as Vivian's. How can you make it sure that it is not mine? You said I had hidden
my own ring. Why couldn't Vivian hide her ring? Guys! Do you think what I said makes sense?"
Similarly, she appeared to be so calm, but actually she was so nervous. When she knew that she was
claimed to steal Vivian's ring, she suddenly remembered the scene that Yolanda had knocked her bag
off and picked up for her. At that moment, she seemed to understand what was going on.
In a flash, Joey came up with a countermeasure.
Without hesitation, Joey took off her ring with her left hand resting on the dessert table, hid it under a
dish and played to the score.
As she expected, they required to search her bag. Then, she just went ahead and fought them back.
After hearing from both sides, the guests were so confused because both of them were convincing.
Seeing that the guests have had been irresolute, Yolanda was ready to attack again in order to hold the
victory tight. Unexpectedly, Allen began to speak who had been silent all through the argument.
Looking at Samantha, Allen said in a low voice, "Mrs. Moore, clearly somebody is making trouble for
my honey on purpose. Now that you have searched Joey's bag, for the sake of fairness, maybe you
should do the same to your daughters. They are so offensive to us, which really makes them
questionable."
