I prepared the dinner and they ate before retiring to the bed.

“Mine was even better, mom understands me quite well, she is quite hopeful I’ll find a job very soon, which is more better than the former one”

“What’s did you think we should do?”

“I don’t know Eva but perhaps we aren’t able to find any job today, then we will find some menial jobs to do in the market”

“Yeah, you know we ought to collect our salary today and your mom will be expecting you to bring some food stuff at home”

“Okay, let’s check that restaurant there maybe there’s any vacancy”

“Okay thanks”I mumbled sadly before walking out of the restaurant, this is the fifth place we’ve went to but there’s no vacancy.

“I’m going to the market now, will you follow me or not”Eva asked slightly peeved Walking away and I run to catch up with her.

“Yippee”Eva squealed counting the money she made after buying more than enough food stuffs and I smile.

Although I made more money than her but she was quite happy she’s able to but food stuff for her mom, now she’s some be able to suspect that’s she’s not working again.

“Careful Eva, people are watching”I scold and she scoff.

“Really???, aren’t they here when I entered this market with a sad face and they never bothered to ask what’s wrong with me, so they should care about me now that I’m happy, common let’s go”She nudge me and I trailed behind her.

When we got to the junction, I bade her good bye before parting ways with her.

“Hey mom, I’m back”I yelled happily and barge into the room, she walk up to me and pull me into a passionate hug.

“How was today’s work?”

“Hectic”I breathe out tiredly and drop the bags on the floor.

“I prepared dinner already, will you take your meal now or you’ll take your shower first?”

“Seriously mom, you know I always like to take my bath before eating”

“Okay, hurry up to take your bath so you can eat”

“Okay thanks mom”I replied and she smiled.

I was about to walk into my room when I heard a loud bang in mom’s room.

I turn to look at her and she sighed walking up to me.

“Is there anyone here?”

“Yes, I thought you’ll take your bath first before I inform you that your sister is around”

“Who?”

“Did you have more than one sister Eva?”

“Why’s she here”I asked looking at her room and she step out of the oom slowly walking up to me.

“Eva…”

“Don’t just mention my name Mira, you left us here since two years ago without texting nor calling us, did you suddenly care about us?”

“I’m sorry Eva, it wasn’t my fault”

“It wasn’t your fault?, so is it my fault or mum’s fault?”

“I’m sorry, I got hooked up at Manilla so I wasn’t able to reach you, I’m sorry”

“You’re not fair enough Mira, you’re not fair enough”I mumbled with tears dripping down my face and she pull me into a hug.

“I’m sorry”She sniffed and I pat her back.

“I’m back for good Eva, I came here to make things up to you”

“Yeah, I got lucky to win the heart of a young rich entrepreneur in Manila, as at now, I’m the manager of his company”
