Chapter 220
Everything had gone according to Sheldon's plan.
However, Matthew suddenly got up from his seat and walked toward the stage. "It doesn't matter if it's modern medicine or traditional medicine. The effectiveness is what matters. We should only get rid of things when it doesn't work. "Even though modern medicine is advancing rapidly, it can't cure everything."
As Matthew spoke, he held the arm of Mark Grabowski, one of the people who had raised their hands.
Mark appeared to be in his 40s. He had mouth ulcers, bloodshot eyes, and inflammation at the corner of his eyes. His face was also covered in pimples.
Matthew looked at Mark and said, "You're showing signs of inflammation. How does modern medicine handle that?"
Mark was at a loss for words to respond. He was into modern medicine and had even sent his son abroad to study it. When his son had an inflammation issue, he ended up mailing some traditional medicine over.
Mark had been stressed out lately over some troubles at his factory, and his ulcer issues had surfaced. But just like that, Matthew's question had Mark totally stumped.
Matthew grunted coldly. "If you need traditional medicine to feel better, why are you against it?"
After saying that, Matthew approached Donald Winstead, who was in his 30s. He had his arm in a sling, and it looked like his arm was hurt pretty badly.
Matthew went up and yanked Donald's arm. He then jerked it abruptly, making a loud snap.
Surprised by Matthew's actions, Donald sprang to his feet and grabbed Matthew by the collar. "My arm's injured, and you're still messing with me? Are you looking for a fight?"
Matthew motioned to the hand holding his collar and asked, "Does that look like an injured arm to you?"
Donald lowered his head and looked at it. Only then did he realize that he was grabbing Matthew with the injured hand.
What? Donald's arm had been so weak that he could barely lift it, but it seemed perfectly fine now. How did that happen?
Feeling exasperated, Matthew
added, "I just realigned your bone and fixed it in seconds. Treatment through modern medicine will take at least a month. Despite that, you're against traditional medicine. Are you out of your mind?"
"I..." Donald stuttered. He was utterly embarrassed. Knowing that he was wrong, he just kept quiet and took his seat again.
Matthew kept walking and came up to Gerald Scully, an old man in his 60s.
He locked eyes with Gerald and stated, "As you get older, your body doesn't work like it used to, but you're so obsessed over libido boosters that it ruined your health. "But... I have the right prescription just for you to boost your performance tonight. Are you interested?"
Gerald's eyes lit up as he got up excitedly. "Yes, I want it! Can you prescribe it for me?"
Matthew coldly replied, "So, are you still going to ban traditional medicine? If you do, you'll be a softie forever."
Feeling frustrated, Gerald's face turned red. He wanted to retort but held back because he still needed Matthew's treatment.
Matthew then walked up to Sherwin
Wofford, who was chubby. "High blood pressure, huh? You're stuck with modern medicine forever? Worse yet, they are bad for your
stomach and heart.
"I can fix your blood pressure with just three prescriptions, and I promise there are no side effects-"
Onstage, Sheldon didn't take Matthew seriously at first. But seeing Matthew expose everyone, he knew he had to cut Matthew off. "Shut up!" he yelled.
Seeing that Sheldon was upset,
Robert came down from the stage and said, "You're just spouting nonsense, Matthew! There's no way traditional medicine can fix these issues." novelbin

Seeing Robert stepping up again, Matthew coldly remarked, "Do you often take Gynaptonin?"
Robert was taken aback. He'd been on this medication for six months but had never told anyone about it before. "How did you know?"
Matthew looked at Robert, as if he were an idiot. "I could tell right away by observing you. You can't even see straight. Don't you know that yourself?"
