The Billionaire’s Playmate

Rozzean Cyron’s POV Part II

Rozzean Cyron’s POV Part II

When I was young, I had a nanny. Her name was Nanay Sol. She raised me and gave me the love I didn’t feel from my real parents. She took care of me as if I were her own child. I was so happy when she was my nanny, but my dad kicked Nanay Sol out of our house for a simple reason.

She was accused of breaking a vase that my dad had bought at an auction. I still remember how I cried when I saw Nanay Sol leave our house. She was the only person who truly cared for me.

Later on, my dad found out that it was Luther who had broken the vase. I was so angry that I punched Luther. We fought, and what I’ll never forget is how my dad pushed me to see the injured face of his adopted child.

“Why am I reminiscing about the past now?”

I returned to my work. I finished reading and signing the papers piled up on my desk.

Time passed quickly at my company, and my condition worsened. After all the meetings, I returned to my office and lay down on the long sofa.

I felt the need to stretch my back. My headache was also getting worse.

“Mr. Valleje, are you okay? Do you need anything?”

I looked at my secretary.

“Am I done with all the scheduled meetings for today, Miss Salas?” I asked.

“Yes, sir. There are no more meetings scheduled.”

I nodded, “Okay, I will go home now.”

After my secretary left, I grabbed my suitcase and headed outside. I really need to go home now and rest. There’s a possibility that whatever I’m feeling might escalate.

I can’t afford to get sick. There is a lot of work to do. I can’t go back to the old situation where I’d hear my father’s voice again about how I’m running the company incorrectly.

I need to work hard. I need to prove to my Dad I can stand on my own.

“Damn this headache.”

I unbuttoned the top three buttons of my polo and then started my car.

While in the car, my cellphone rang.

It was my secretary.

“Hello, Miss Salas?”

“Sir, there are two people who want to apply as maids in your house. I told them you’ve already left. Should I send them to your house?”

I almost forgot about the maids. I dismissed three of them yesterday due to their attempts to flirt with me. I’ve had to let several maids go for the same reason.

All of them seem to develop feelings for me. Most are seducing me.

“Okay, thank you, Miss Salas.”

I don’t have time to get involved with someone because of work. Plus, I’ve already agreed to meet Mr. Dela Vezca’s only daughter. I remember the conversation I had with my father.

“You’re 33, Cyron. What are you waiting for at this age?”

“I am not rushing, Dad–”

“You’re not rushing? I’ve never heard that you had a girlfriend, Cyron.”

Where is this conversation going?

“What do you want me to do, Dad?”

“You’re going to meet Romualdo’s daughter. She’s a beautiful and smart woman. She comes from a respectable and well-off family. A woman like that is suitable for you.”

George Romualdo Dela Vezca. Mr. Dela Vezca is one of the biggest investors in my company and has been a supporter since the early days. I didn’t know he had a daughter; I thought he had only sons.

But I don’t care where the woman comes from or who she is. I don’t base my decisions on social status.

When I reached the village, my forehead knotted when I saw the guards talking to a woman blocking the path. I parked my car and approached them.

“What’s happening here?”

I got their attention. I noticed the woman looking at me. It was scorching hot, but she was wrapped up tightly. She had thick bangs, a mole on her left cheek, and freckles.

The guard informed me that the woman was applying for a maid position. Despite the headache that was starting to throb, I agreed to let her in. I headed back to my car and made my way home. My condition was getting worse.

“Manang Selya, when the woman applying as a maid arrives, please bring her to my room,” I told Manang Selya.

I was 30 when I met Manang Selya.

She’s sixty-eight now. Manang Selya used to be a vendor, later on became homeless and always hanging around outside my company. She told me her story. Her husband had passed away, and her child had left and gone abroad with their spouse.

She became alone after that. I remembered Nanay Sol in her.

I pity old people like her. I immediately talked to her, asked if she could work as my maid, and when she said she had a lot of skills, I quickly hired her and had Miss Salas arrange the necessary paperwork for her benefits.

Now, Manang Selya has been with me for almost three years in my house. She’s not just a maid; like Nanay Sol, she’s family.

I went up to my room, took a towel, and left it on the sofa. Then, I headed to the bathroom. I felt like I needed a cold shower to ease the discomfort I was feeling.

After I finished, I stepped out of the bathroom, but I was startled by a scream.

“Oh my gosh! I’m still a virgin! Please, not that! That hotdog is so big!”

I suddenly looked down.

Ohh…

I approached the sofa and grabbed the towel. I quickly covered my lower body with it. I was used to walking around without clothes on, especially in my room.

I talked to the woman. She was the one at the guardhouse earlier, asking if she could enter to apply as a maid in my house. I observed her, and her style was quite different. She was dressed in a long-sleeved blouse and a long skirt. She wore flowery shoes.

Okay… this is the first time I’ve encountered an applicant who dresses and looks like this. Weird.

I asked her various questions, and she knew how to respond. She is a little rude for a maid. But it doesn’t matter as long as she is working well and will not fall for me. I am sick of firing the maids for trying to seduce me. Some even went to my room without my permission naked and in my bed. Damn. I don’t even want to remember.

“You’re twenty-nine, right? Still a virgin? And don’t tell me that’s the first time you’ve seen a d*ck?” I asked after an interaction with her. She just saw me naked, and the look on her face? she looks disgusted which for me is good.

“I’m not used to seeing such things, sir. With all due respect, I’m not the type of woman who engages in such activities before marriage. Besides, you’re the one at fault for what happened earlier.”

I leaned back on the sofa and crossed my arms.

“Why is it my fault? I am here inside my room… in my own house, woman.”

She introduced herself. She’s Tali Dela Cruz. She doesn’t have that much knowledge as she didn”t finish a degree and she didn’t even go to high school. It seems like I’ll need to adjust to her because I really need a maid. Her looks were saying that I can trust her.

I told her one of my house rules, which is that my housemaids should not develop feelings for me. Otherwise, they’ll be dismissed. And I couldn’t believe what she just said. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“Sir, no offense, but you’re quite full of yourself.”

I felt like I went deaf for a moment. Okay, she’s in. She has the guts to talk back. I think she’s strong-willed and will last in my house.

I accepted her as a new maid.

But I need to test her to make sure she won’t fall for me. I’m tired of searching for a decent maid.

I took a short nap and when I woke up, I went downstairs to the kitchen. I was hungry since I didn’t have lunch earlier due to finishing my work.

I hadn’t even reached the kitchen when I smelled a delicious aroma. My eyebrows furrowed.

“Hmm, that smells good-”

“What’s that smell?”

“Oh, hotdog!”

My new maid looked at me.

“Are you done cooking?”

“Y-You said it would take two hours before you come down-”

I walked closer to her. The smell of the food was tempting me. Suddenly, my stomach grumbled, and Tali’s face turned red. I needed to test her, to be sure.

I moved closer to her, putting my hands on both sides while she moved away from me.

“S-Sir, what are you-”

I glanced at the spoon on the side and put my pointer finger to taste the sauce of the food she cooked.

“Hmm… it tastes good.”

In the next few hours, I noticed several things about my new maid. She was cheerful and attentive. We talked about the different areas of my house, and I told her the places she could go. I didn’t have many restrictions in my house, except for the garden.

The garden was essential to me because of my older brother. I never let anyone go there because my brother was the one who planted the flowers. I took care of it, and I didn’t let anyone else touch it.

After our conversation, I went back to my room. I was feeling a bit of discomfort in my body. I thought a shower would make me feel better, but it didn’t seem to be working.

“I can’t get sick, damn it.”

But there’s a different itch I’m feeling in my throat. My head hurts, and it’s worsened by the two new applicants. Just from their initial looks, I can immediately sense their intentions.

“Maybe I should stop these interviews?”
