Mommy And Daddy
Thaliana Tangi Dela Vezca Valleje POV
“R-Rozzean!”
What the hell? I thought it was supposed to be next week?
“Rozzean!” I shouted again.
He hurriedly entered our room. When we locked eyes, he quickly approached me.
“W-Why?”
“My water just broke! I-I’m going into labor!”
We locked eyes again. He didn’t move.
“Rozzean!” I shouted again. When he snapped out of it, he lifted me and headed to the garage. We passed by Luther. It looks like they’re still working!
“Is she giving birth?!” Luther asked.
“Yes!”
Rozzean was still barefoot, and when he started the car, I couldn’t help but cry out in pain.
“Fck!”
“Let me drive; where are the babies’ things?” Luther asked as he turned around.
“Damn, yes!” I heard Rozzean say as he got out of the car.
I felt like I was going to pass out from the pain.
“Ahhh!!” I screamed as the stinging pain hit me. When Rozzean came back into the car, he had the babies’ things with him. Luther drove fast. We headed to the hospital. Rozzean also tried contacting Ferline, but she wasn’t answering.
“Oh gosh… it hurts.”
Rozzean wiped the tears from my face and held my arm tightly. When I looked at him, I saw that he was turning pale.
“Baby… calm down, okay?” he said, but it seemed like he was the one who needed to calm down because he looked so pale!
“D-Don’t faint! No! Ahhhh!”
With my scream, he was startled. He barely made it through my scream, and his face grew even paler.
He touched my belly and kissed it. He’s whispering to our babies. When the pain tightened again, I screamed again. I buried my face in Rozzean’s neck and cried.
“You are strong, baby… you can do this…”
When we reached the hospital, I was still crying from the pain. I could also hear Rozzean’s voice. He was strengthening my courage. He was holding my hand tightly.
When we entered the delivery room, he was there. I changed into a patient gown.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Hello, mother, I am Dr. Yan, an ob-gyn,” a male doctor entered the room.
“W-Where’s Ferline? Where is Doctor Ferline? She’s my wife’s ob-gyn,” Rozzean answered.
I was sweating cold because of the pain.
“She’s still delivering another baby, and it seems there’s a problem with the schedule–”
“What? And you are the one who will…”
The male ob-gyn nodded.
“Ahhh!” I screamed again when I felt pain. When the male ob-gyn approached me and lifted my shirt to check my condition, I was surprised when Rozzean pushed him away.
My lips parted in shock.
“Stop!” my husband shouted.
“Y-You are a man and–”
“Ohh! W-what the hell, Rozzean! He’s a doctor! An ob-gyn! Let him be! My stomach hurts, and your kids are going crazy!”
I saw hesitation on my spouse’s face. He kept glancing between me and the male doctor.
“Mr. Your wife is about to give birth, and there might be problems if the babies aren’t delivered soon.”
Rozzean didn’t speak. I thought everything was okay, but when the doctor raised the cover on my lower body again, I was surprised when Rozzean punched him.
“Don’t touch her!”
I gasped and looked at the doctor on the floor, unconscious due to the force of my spouse’s punch. The newly arrived nurses also looked in shock.
“D-Doc!” the nurses shouted.
I turned to Rozzean and gave him a stern look.
“Rozzean! I’m about to give birth, and all you’re doing is being jealous!”
“B-Baby…”
I was really thankful when Ferline arrived. I couldn’t handle the pain anymore, and she told me that our babies with Rozzean came out earlier than expected.
“Is she okay? Why hasn’t she woken up yet? She’s been sleeping for so long.”
“Oh, I don’t know about you, Rozzean. Why did you punch Dr. Yan? He’s nice. You’re unbelievable.”
I opened my eyes wide when I heard that conversation. Rozzean was still blurry in my vision, but as my sight cleared, I called out to him.
“R-Rozzean…”
He turned to me.
“Baby!”
“W-Where are our children?”
My whole body was numb. I also struggled to move. Rozzean looked to my left. I followed his gaze, and beside me, our children were lying side by side. I smiled when I saw my babies.
“W-Who came first, baby?” I asked my husband.
“It’s Rozwell. Rozwell Hanz, followed by Rockwell Sanz, and the last one is Thalia Rozzeana.”
Just as I wanted it to be. I really wanted my daughter to be the last one to come out. I tightly held Rozzean’s hand; he brought it to his lips and kissed it.
“Thank you, you are so brave and strong, baby. Thank you so much.”
“I love you,” he said.
What happened wasn’t easy even after giving birth, but just like before, Rozzean stayed by my side to support and take care of me. He was the one staying up and caring for our children. When I was pregnant with the triplets, he even took lessons on how to take care of babies. He didn’t want to hire a caregiver for our children because he believed he could handle it.
Our parents were also delighted with the triplets and almost visited our house every day. Thes practically lived with us, helping me whenever Rozzean was busy with the kids.
I told Thes that she could stay in the house I bought near Rozzean’s place, but she said she needed to think about it.
“Baby, do you want something to eat?” Rozzean asked me, smiling while holding Thalia.
“Nothing, but if there is, let Manang handle it, Rozzean. You haven’t slept yet.”
I walked over and peeked at Rockwell and Rozwell, who were looking at the toys spinning above their crib.
Our babies are 5 months old now. The days pass by so quickly. It feels like just yesterday when I was pregnant, struggling to move because of my big belly.
“They slept earlier without bothering us.”
He wakes up immediately when one of the triplets cries. I suggested getting a caregiver, but he really didn’t want to. I was worried it might affect his work, but he assured me that he’s used to online work, and Luther helps him manage RCV while he takes care of our children.
He said he doesn’t want to miss the first times of our babies.
I fall more in love with him. The care he has given to me and his children, from my pregnancy until now, that we’ve given birth.
“Thalia might be Daddy’s girl…” I said, smiling at him.
He’s swaying. Our child is also asleep in his arms.
“That would be great, then?”
Slowly, Rozzean lowered Thalia into her crib and approached the cribs of our other two children. He peeked and adjusted the pillows on the side.
“Did I say thank you and I love you today?”
He held me around my waist. I nodded in response to his question. He’s always saying thank you. Every day. Several times a day, but I never get tired of hearing it because he’s the one saying it.
“I am so happy, Thaliana… so happy… I never thought that I would be this happy, and that’s because of you. I love you, baby… thank you for coming into my life and for bringing Rockwell, Rozwell, and Thalia.”
“I love you too, husband… thank you for taking care of us. I have no words for the hard work and love you show us.”
Rozzean bent down and claimed my lips. When we heard a knock, he separated from me and opened the door. Our parents’ smiling faces greeted us.
“Surprise visit! How are our grandchildren?” Mommy asked us.
It wasn’t actually a surprise visit because we knew they would come every day!
I gave Daddy and the others space and they approached the cribs. I went to Rozzean, who was by the door. He held me around my waist and kissed the top of my head, whispering “I love you” again.
I looked up at him and touched his cheek.
“Let’s sleep? Our parents are here. They can watch over them for now.”
Rozzean nodded. This is also his time to take a rest, and he can sleep more easily if I’m beside him.
