Talented Wife 6
Alina's heart skipped a beat. her first instinct was to bolt. But Johnny strode over, cutting off her escape.
"Where are you taking my daughter?" Johnny's voice was sharp, snatching the child from Alina's grasp. He eyed her with disgust. "You were acting all shady in the elevator. Turns out you're a trafficker." Alina froze, not expecting this little girl to be Johnny's daughter
Laura looked about four or five years old. That meant Alina's "death" hadn't affected Johnny in the slightest. And Laura might
very well be Johnny and Barbara's child.
Thinking about how miserable she had been while Barbara was cozying up to Johnny and then having a child together made Alina's body tremble with anger.
"Trafficker? You should thank me! If I hadn't rescued your daughter, you wouldn't even see her now"
Johnny looked at her with disdain. "Traffickers these days are audacious, daring to say such things!" At this point, his bodyguard rushed over, and Johnny directed, "Call the police! You dare to kidnap my daughter, I'll make you pay!" "Johnny Surton, you..."
Johnny stared at her, his eyes cold. "You know my name. It looks like this was a planned kidnapping. I won't let you off the
hook."
"Il cooperate, but if I'm not a trafficker, you owe me an apology on your knees!"
Johnny scoffed. "No one's made me kneel in my life."
"Wait and see!" Alina knew Johnny would regret this someday.
Johnny completely brushed off Alina's words. In his mind, she was just a wild kidnapper, not worth a second thought. Wher he noticed Laura seemed unwell, he grew incredibly anxious. He needed to rush her to the doctor. He had initially come to find Night, but now, saving Laura was his top priority, forcing him to let go of the search for Night.
As he carried the child into the elevator, a panicked guard yelled, "Mr. Sutton, Mr. Drake ran off!"
"What happened?" Johnny's brow furrowed.
The bodyguard explained that Drake seemed to have some martial skills. He bit the bodyguard and kicked him before running off. When he tried to chase him down, Drake had disappeared.
At that moment, the elevator opened again, and a voice came from behind. "Daddy."
Drake stood there, stepping out from the elevator.
Seeing that his son was okay, Johnny didn't pursue the matter further. However, there was something that puzzled Johnny.
"Drake, weren't you wearing something different in the restroom?"
Drake was now dressed in formal wear, but just moments ago in the restroom, he had been wearing a flamboyant and -peculiar outfit.
Drake blinked, not understanding Johnny's meaning.
Shaking his head, Johnny decided to ignore it. Right now, getting Laura to the doctor was the most important thing. So, he didn't dwell on it and quickly got into the car with the children. NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

In the upstairs standoff, Alina faced off against Johnny's beefy bodyguards. They were towering, and even though Alina had some fight in her, taking on that many of them wasn't in the cards. They were afraid Alina might bolt, so they closed in, aiming to grab her. Alina caught on to their intentions and bluntly stated, "No need to push me. I'll go myself!"
Alina got escorted to the police station, where she played nice and helped out with the investigation. Finally, the cops realized it was all a big mix-up and let her go.
But there she was, chilling at the station, sipping tea, with no plans to split.
"So that guy gets to smear me, and that's the end of it?"
"Ms. Chavez, it was an honest mistake. We got a tip and had to follow through," the sweating cop explained.
"Is that right? Well, then I might as well drop a dime on Johnny for maybe knocking someone off or trying to."
"Ms. Chavez, you can't just toss accusations like that," the officer warned.
"Right or wrong, all of you can check it out."
Then, out of the blue, a voice piped up from outside. "Hey, Mom!"
In walked a slick young dude, hands in his pockets.
"Mom, seriously? First day at Enkmelo and you're already in cuffs? Now it's up to me to bail you out?"
