The Babysitter

Chapter 3: Oh-Um-Crap!

Chapter 3: Oh-Um-Crap!

Chapter 3: (Xavier's POV)- Oh-Um-Crap!

I have no clue why on earth my mom thinks I need a babysitter, like come on, how old am I? Two? I

have to admit though, I'm lucky it's Aubrey. I've known her for a while, we've been going to the same

school since forever.

We're not close, never have been but I think she's a cool person. She's drop-dead gorgeous for sure

but she's my babysitter and the fact that she refused to leave annoyed me.

Now, I know that I told her I could make her stay but I only said that so that she would want to leave

even more and so that she would leave so that I disarm the monitor and get the hell out of here.

I know the officers would be alerted when I took it off, but I would've been back before they could get

here. This whole situation is such chaos. I don't know what the hell I would do if my dad found out

about it.

He's different, way different than my mom. He gets angry at every little thing, he's a lot more strict, he

has a lot higher expectations and he doesn't understand that I just can't reach them. I shook my head,

clearing the thoughts before going and showering.

I did what anyone does in the shower, cleaned up, washed my hair before stepping out and drying off

with a towel.

I wrapped the towel around my waist and stepped out into my room. I headed on over to my closet and

threw on my boxers and sweatpants. I grabbed a black v-neck to throw on but before I could do so, my

door swung open.

"Is there anything that-" Aubrey walked in and locked eyes with me. And then took in my appearance.

"Oh-Um-Crap!" she stared at my naked upper body, she looked so cute. All flustered, panicked, and

blushing.

"Are you even trying to look away?" I laughed while she blushed even harder.

"Crap! Uh-sorry!" She tore her gaze off of me and turned her back to face me while clenching and

unclenching her hands into fists.

I swiftly threw the shirt on and spoke up, "You can look now, don't worry. You won't be eye-raping me

anymore." I walked right up behind her. She quickly turned around to face me, colliding with me. "You

came here asking for something?" I questioned her tauntingly.

She remained quiet with her eyes piercing into mine.

I raised my eyebrows at her.

"I-" she began but couldn't finish. She bit her lower lip, shifting my gaze down to it before I snapped

myself out of it. "Is there anything that you want? I'm uh- I'm making lunch." She cleared her throat

awkwardly.

"You wanna cook for me?" I smirked.

"If you don't give me a straight answer I might just cook you." She glared at me, trying to take a step

back.

I put my arm around her waist, locking her while pulling her closer to myself.

"Spaghetti? That's all I can make do you want it or not?" she asked, rolling her eyes at me.

"What if I say I don't want it?" I challenged.

"Then I'll order pizza." She shrugged casually before trying to throw my hands off of her but failing

miserably. "You know if you're trying to annoy me to drive me out of here, it won't work." She smiled

innocently at me.

So she did catch on? She's smarter than I thought.

"Why is that?" I questioned, letting her go.

"Because I'm getting paid pretty darn good for just being here." She flipped her hair over her shoulder

before heading down the stairs.

I laughed to myself while shaking my head.

"Order the pizza!" she yelled from downstairs.

"Yes, ma'am!" I screamed before grabbing my phone and ordering some pizza. Once I did that, I went

downstairs to see her on her phone.

She seemed to be too engrossed in her phone to notice me taking a seat beside her.

So I did what any person being ignored would do. I took her phone. Or well, snatched her phone."Let's

see what you're so engrossed in!" I teased while taking her phone to see her texting her best friend,

Violet Blake.

Now surprisingly, I know Violet but not through her, through Ace. The boy's got a huge thing for her. He

told me he saw her in Hawaii, he's thrilled to be there while she is but her? I don't know. Only one way

to find out. So I began scrolling up the chat to the beginning of summer break.

"What do you think you're doing?" she asked, not even budging. She didn't give one damn that I had

her phone.

"Fishing for information." I shrugged while continuing to scroll. She sighed before turning to me

completely, propping her elbow up on the couch and resting her head in her hand.

"Which I could just tell you if you want?" she offered while shrugging casually and running her hand

through her hair.

"You'd betray a best friend that way?" I raised an eyebrow at her, intrigued.

"Well either I can tell you, or you'll find it on my phone. But you'll know either way," she raised her

eyebrows. She'd probably tell me more, it's not like she'd remember the text conversation word for

word.

"Fair enough." I sighed, handing her phone back to her. "Begin," I prompted.

She burst out laughing before placing the hand with her phone behind her back. "You're so stupid," she

laughed. "If you gave me what I wanted, why would I tell you now?" she questioned, looking at me like I

was the dumbest person in the world, which to be fair, currently I was.

"You're a lot smarter than the other girls in our school, you know," I stated. While eyeing her up and

down.

"No, they're just dumber than usual," she spoke casually while fiddling with the hem of her dress. Not

gonna lie, I'm impressed.

And confused as to why we've never talked before. I'm sure she's already annoyed and wants to leave

but the payment holds her back while I want her to stay because she's pretty good company, and very

amusing.

I need that phone. It's a question of helping my best friend out. So I began leaning forward. And she

didn't care.

Until I was too close.

"W-what are you doing?" she began leaning back.

She scooted further back and continued leaning back while I scooted forward while leaning over her.

As she got closer to the armrest at the end of the couch, I grabbed her legs, pulling them up on the

couch, slipping her under me as I hovered over her.

"You're very touchy, aren't you?" she spoke while trying to push me off but I grabbed her wrists in my

hand while she kept the phone under her.

"Phone please?" I sat up, straddling her while she struggled under me.

"No can do. Apologies," she spoke with fluent sarcasm, continuing to try and get her wrists out of my

grip.

"You can give it to me, or I can just take it." I shrugged nonchalantly. NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

"Try me," she scoffed.

I shrugged and nodded before thinking for a moment. The only way I can get the phone is by grabbing

it from under her. So that's exactly what I did. I slipped my hand behind her waist.

"What the hell are you doing? Get off of me!" she squealed.

"Just lay still for like two seconds. Two seconds, that's all I ask," I sighed.

She huffed and listened while I grabbed the phone from under her and brought it to myself.

"Got it." I dangled it in her face before getting off of her.

"I'll tell! I'll tell! What do you want to know?" she sighed while getting up and adjusting her dress which

rode up a bit.

"I'll find out for myself," I huffed before beginning to scroll, she didn't even lock the phone.

"Keep the phone but I'll tell. What do you want to know? How much Violet likes Ace because Ace likes

her a lot? Is that it?" she sighed.

"Frankly, yes." I nodded.

"I can't give you an answer to that, and you won't find it on text either, we talk about this on the phone

or in person. So look through the phone all you want, you won't find it," she teased.

I like this girl.
