Swept Into a Fairytale Marriage 60
Chapter 60 Back to Complain, I Bet.
The couple exited the house and entered the elevator, remaining silent the entire time.
When they reached the lobby, Kenneth greeted them warmly, “Good evening, Mr. Locke, Ms. Tate.” He smiled as he opened the car door so that they could get in the back seat.
Though there was a physical distance between them, the sight of the two together painted a perfect, picturesque moment.
The Lamborghini drove toward Locké Manor.
Although the couple didn’t exchange any words along the way, Kenneth couldn’t help but find them sweet as he recalled the scene of Adrian buying a necklace for Farrah this morning.
Perhaps one day, the two of them would fall in love with each other. After all, they spent so much time. together.
The heartbreak from Sierra was already in the past, and seeing Adrian gradually open his heart to someone else, Kenneth was filled with joy.
Golden rays of the setting sun streamed through the windows, casting a warm, radiant glow over Adrian’s chiseled features and Farrah’s delicate face.
As the car pulled up at Locke Manor, the pair spotted two people sitting under the large camphor tree, playing chess in the garden. One of them was unmistakably Jordan.
Farrah glanced at Adrian, noticing how his expression cooled instantly as he locked eyes with the figure. Kenneth opened the car door, bringing them both back to the present. They stepped out of the car together, though the tension in the air was palpable.
“Adrian, Fay, you’re here!” Philip stood up with a big smile, clearly delighted by their arrival, He had been waiting for this moment.
Jordan glanced over, a faint smirk playing on his lips. Grandpa, I’ll be heading out now.”
“Don’t you want to stay for dinner?” Philip offered kindly. “The kitchen’s already preparing it.”
Jordan shook his head, chuckling softly. “No need. I wouldn’t want to ruin someone’s evening. I’ll come back to visit you another day.”
Philip didn’t press the issue, fully aware of the strained relationship between Jordan and Adrian. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
As Adrian made his way toward them, a hint of mischief danced in his eyes, and his smile was a touch playful. He deliberately took slow steps as he walked directly toward Adrian.
Dressed impeccably in a tailored suit, Adrian walked confidently toward his grandfather with his hands casually tucked in his pockets. His pace remained steady, neither hurried nor delayed.
The two men got closer and closer.
Farrah followed beside Adrian, her curiosity piqued as she observed the silent tension between the two men. She didn’t know who Jordan was, but the strained relationship between him and Adrian was obvious.
She recalled the explosive confrontation from the office and realized that her concealed marriage to
Adrian might not stay hidden much longer.
Adrian’s eyes narrowed slightly as he recognized Farrah–she was the woman he had seen in the office that day. But why was she here, by Adrian’s side? And why were they together at Locke Manor?

Had Philip just called her “Fay“?
As the two men passed each other, Adrian’s expression remained icy. He chose to ignore Jordan entirely. and didn’t even spare him a glance.
On the other hand, Jordan’s mind was racing. Who exactly was the woman beside Adrian, and what was her relationship with Adrian? Did Adrian just get into a relationship?
Soon, he got into the car and drove off.
Once in his car, Jordan’s mind continued to churn with questions. He picked up his phone, dialing a number as he gripped the steering wheel with one hand. “Dig into Adrian’s personal life. I want all the details as soon as possible.”
As promised, Adrian and Farrah arrived on Friday evening, which made Philip very happy.
The kitchen was already bustling with activity, and with Jordan gone, the tense atmosphere dissipated.
However, Philip didn’t bring up anything Jordan had said during his visit. Adrian, in turn, didn’t seem concerned about it either. Whatever had been discussed, it didn’t matter now. What was said, was said. There was no point dwelling on it.
Meanwhile, Farrah couldn’t shake her curiosity about the relationship between the two men.
Were they half–brothers? Was Adrian the son of another woman? And if that were the case, how had the company fallen into his hands?
Henrietta came to the annex in the backyard and entered the private chapel. But before she could speak, Sheila, who stood in front of a statue of a saint, asked her, “Are they back?”
“Yes,” Henrietta replied. “Mr. Jordan has left. Mr. Adrian and Ms. Tate are here, Mr. Locke Senior seems very pleased.”
But Henrietta wasn’t happy at all. She didn’t want to see Adrian at all.
