Chapter 10 :Give and Take

She quietly glanced at Simon, but found that he was looking at her, and at some point, his eyes had fallen on her body.

Her face grew hot.

“What else do you have planned for tonight?”

He came closer, his breath burning.

The close proximity, Silvia’s heart was pounding like a deer caught in the headlights.

The stubborn nature of her bones made her refuse to back down, and she met his obsidian-like

eyes, trying to keep her face as calm as possible, “If I remember correctly, tonight is our wedding night.”

She sounded relaxed and natural, but her hands gripped her knees too hard, revealing the

uneasiness in her heart.

Simon’s eyebrows twitched, and the corners of his lips curled lightly. “So, very well!” he said.

He straightened up, the pressure greatly relieved, but Silvia did not breathe a sigh of relief.

The car soon stopped at its destination.

Silvia thought that Simon would take her back to his private residence, so she was surprised to stop, at the entrance of a spa.

The dark of night against the orange and yellow signboard made her heart feel much more peaceful.

Just–

As she turned her head to look at him in confusion, Simon seemed to be able to guess what she was thinking. “It’s too rushed today to do much preparation.”

“Actually… it’s not important.” Silvia said softly.

It was just a deal, no need to follow rituals.

However, when she saw the carefully arranged restaurant, her heart was struck hard.

The large restaurant was only him and her. The dishes had been placed. Even the wait staff was not

close to the front, giving enough private space. Apparently, the place had been wrapped up.

He had the power, but as he said, the time was so rushed.

“The privacy here is well done, don’t worry about leaking the news,” he said unhurriedly, while

“Thanks, thanks!”

She wasn’t usually so awkward, but in the face of this, she surprisingly didn’t know what to say.

Simon raised his eyebrows as he stopped moving his hands, and his eyes were like water,

“Thank you? Thank you for what?”

“Thank you for agreeing to work with me, thank you for the arrangement, thank you for everything

you did today.”

Although it was a bit impulsive to choose to flash marriage with Simon, she did not regret it.

Hearing this series of thank yous, Simon laughed lightly.

It was a very soft sound, but you could hear that the mood was quite happy.

Immediately afterwards, he brought the steak cut into small pieces to her plate, withdrew his fork, looked at her and said with great seriousness, “That’s not all you have to thank me for.”

After their warm and romantic candlelit dinner, the two went into the arranged suite.

The room was quite large, and there was a private hot spring pool in the room, gurgling hot air, the sound of the water soothing people into a peaceful reverie.

It occurred to Silvia that, later on, she was going to soak in this pool with him, and then…

The actual fact was that you can find a lot of people who were not able to get a good deal on a lot of

things.

The fact that she was nervous and ill at ease, fell into Simon’s eyes. He turned around and took off

his jacket, took a bottle of wine and two glasses over.

“Would you like some?”

“No…” she wanted to refuse, but changed her mind in a flash, “Yes.”

The wine was strong

She was not a coward, but it was as if all her courage wasused up at the moment she approached him and talked to him about making a deal.

Pouring iwo glasses of wine, Simon held one up to her. Silvia stared at the red liquid in the glass, ented her teeth and clinked her plass with his, then tilted her head and drank it all.

The action was so violent that she choked and coughed repeatedly.

Simon laughed and raised his hand to patller shoulder. “I’ll go ahead to the spring, you take your

time.”

He would give her ample time to prepare and the opportunity to back out if she has regrets. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Turning around, he walked in the direction of the hot spring pool.

As she watched his back disappear from sight, Silvia’s heart was in turmoil and she hurriedly poured another glass of wine, emptying it again in one gulp.

After drinking most of the bottle of red wine in one go, Silvia stood up and could vaguely see

Simon’s back in the direction of the hot spring pool.

He opened his arms and turned his back to her, revealing only the part above his shoulders, his muscles were very clear and crisp, and the water beaded on his skin with a crystal shine.

Silvia approached the divide separating wet and dry and stood there with her throat dry.

Her movements could be heard, but Simon remained calm and patient, allowing her to seize the

moment.

Silvia quickly stripped off her clothing, but she left her underwear on.

Barefoot, she moved behind him, then next to him, and jumped into the water so she wouldn’t have time to look back and feel guilty.

Once in the water, her body quickly became warm and perspired heavily due to the temperature of the water.

She had never been so honest in front of a man.

Even with Ladarius, it was limited to holding hands and kissing, not getting any closer.

A sudden hitch on her shoulder and the next force made her body turn around uncontrollably and curl right into his arms.

“Whew-”

A big gasp of air.

Skin against skin, the heat of their bodies different from the temperature of the water, but more

capable of burning each other.

Simon held her waist with one hand and cupped her chin with the other, forcing her to look at him.

“One last chance.” He paused, the fire in his eyes faintly burning. “If you’re not ready, we can…”

The next second, his lips were sealed…
