Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 933

Henry yawned, letting his head fall naturally onto a familiar shoulder, snuggling in for a nap. Andre felt the soft weight against his neck and sighed, deciding to give up trying to communicate. Instead, he cradled his little sleepyhead and headed back to the office. Later that evening, as school let out, Mia was packing up her things. "I'm going home for extra practice tonight. You two can study here," she said.

"Mia, why are you heading home so early today?" Jamie asked, intrigued.

Mia shot Jamie a playful wink. "Luck's been on my side lately. I'm off to strike it rich."

Jamie, catching Mia's infectious grin, couldn't help but smile back. "Are you going to make so much money that you'll ditch grad school?"

Mia stood, gathered her test papers, and placed them in her bag. "No way. I'll just work even harder."

With that, she slung her bag over her shoulder and headed out. As she reached the street, she spotted a car parked under the shade of a tree.

Mia dashed over, calling out, "Where's mommy's treasure?"

Henry, mid-gulp of his formula, waved his little hand. "Momma!"

She enveloped his chubby cheeks in a hug and gave him a kiss, then turned to her husband. "Alright, let's hit the road."

As Andre drove, he felt like a chauffeur, hearing the sweet exchanges between mother and son in the back. Henry would occasionally call out "Momma," and Mia would respond with a kiss. "Did you get some walking in today?" Mia asked.

Henry puckered his lips, eager to chat. "Hmm."

"Are you tired? Want Mommy to massage your little legs?" she offered, playfully pinching his leg.

Once they reached the mall, Mia tossed her bag into the car and carried Henry to the elevator, waiting for Andre to park.

She started chatting about what they needed, "We've got a lot to buy this time. Henry's walking now, so we need more clothes and socks."

"We'll just get your stuff. Henry's clothes can last a few more days," Andre suggested.

In the elevator, Henry seemed to grasp that his dad was joking about not buying him clothes. He pouted and snuggled closer to his mom, whimpering a bit.

Mia quickly reassured him, "Alright, alright, we'll buy them."

Henry stopped crying, but his little sniffles made him look even more pitiful.

Andre felt a pang of guilt. As the elevator doors opened, Mia glanced at him. "See? He understands everything."

Holding their little mastermind, they stepped out with Andre trailing behind. He tried to reach for Henry's hand, but the boy, still a bit miffed, hid it with his mom.

"Little rascal, just like your mom. Adorable when you want to be, but a handful when you're not."

They reached the luxury section, and Andre guided Mia to the jewelry counter. Henry clung to his mom, eyeing the sparkling pieces.

"The ruby was Henry's pick, and the diamond ring was mine," Andre explained, holding up two bracelets to compare on Mia's wrists. Mia's wrist already showcased a green emerald bracelet from before, so Andre tried the other on her free wrist.

Henry's little hand reached out, gripping the ruby bracelet tightly, trying to chew on it.

The manager and sales assistant, hearts pounding, didn't dare intervene but were worried about damage they couldn't afford.

Andre gently pried Henry's hand open, retrieved the bracelet, and placed it on Mia's wrist.

Mia admired both. The diamond sparkled like she was royalty, while the ruby added a touch of mystery and elegance.novelbin

Torn between the two, Mia asked the manager, "Which one costs more?"

The manager quickly answered, "Mrs. Cedillo, they're in the same price range, each over three million."

"I'll take both," Mia decided with a grin.

The manager and sales assistant glanced at Andre, who simply handed over his card.

"When you dig a hole for me, your son helps out," Mia teased.

Henry blinked innocently at his mom, unbothered by her fib.

Andre rubbed his temples and said, "Let's wrap it up."

As they left, Mia swung her wrist adorned with a new bracelet. "I have so many, I can't even wear them all. This is your fault, Andre."

Andre, balancing Henry on one arm and holding Mia's hand with the other, accompanied her through the shopping spree.

At a women's clothing store, he waited on a sofa. At a jewelry store, he lingered outside. At a makeup store, he leaned against a railing.

Throughout, Henry sat quietly on

Andre's lap, nibbling on a rice cake. When he was done, he offered the rest to Andre, who ate it without hesitation and wiped Henry's hands and face with a wet wipe.

In the baby store, Mia chatted with the sales assistant, trying clothes on Henry. Though resistant, Henry eventually relented, and Andre found himself paying for three bags of clothes for their son.

"You won't finish wearing all these by next year," Andre remarked.

Henry, ever the sharer, offered his warm water bottle to Andre for a sip.

At a lingerie store, Andre passed Mia a card. "We'll wait here."

Mia hesitated until Andre reminded her, "We're guys."

"Oh, right," she laughed, heading inside.

Half an hour later, she re-emerged.

In the supermarket, Mia picked up a cute tiger cup for Henry and a cat cup for herself.

Andre just shook his head, amused.

After gathering all they needed, Mia announced, "We're done."

Andre heaved a sigh of relief.

Nobody could argue with Chad's

dedication when it came to shopping trips. It was said that ever

since Molly was old enough to shop, Chad was there to carry her bags.

Having survived a shopping spree with Mia, Andre admired his brother-in-law's stamina.

Just as Andre suggested dinner at Majestic Dining Enclave, his phone rang.

"Hey, little bro. When are you and Mia getting home? Your four brothers have been waiting for over an hour."
