“Marc…” Clarissa noticed Marc was lost in thought and approached him. “Marc, am I
beautiful?”
Marc smiled faintly. “Yes.”
Satisfied, Clarissa touched her waist and turned to the designer beside her. “It’s a tad loose here and doesn’t show off my figure. Can you tighten it?”
The designer explained hesitantly, “I’m sorry. Our wedding dresses are custom- made three months in advance. This one isn’t your size. It was purchased from another customer who had a fuller figure. If we adju

Clarrisa’s face darkened. “So, it’s my fault?”
“N–no. You misunderstood.” The designer panicked when Clarissa changed her demeanor abruptly, apologizing profusely.
Clarissa refused to relent. Marc eventually said, “Since this won’t do, choose
another.”
The designer suggested hurriedly, “We’ve one which fits you perfectly, Miss
Santos…”
“I’ve seen that. It’s tacky.” Clarissa glared at the designer sinisterly and added, “Don’t call me Miss Santos. I’m Mrs: Males.”
The designer was caught off guard. Tension grew.
Marc frowned. He said calmly to the designer, “You can go. We’ll continue later.”
But the designer didn’t want to deal with them anymore. She left with the wedding dress, muttering to her colleague, “Is she off her rocker? Why make a

Pearl declined Hubert’s suggestion to throw her a welcome–back party, claiming to

Tina was forced to move to a guest room and was infuriated by the shabby room. Furthermore, her bags were scratched, which made her angrier.
Tina turned the volume to maximum and danced on the bed. If she couldn’t sleep, no one could either.
Tina was engrossed in thinking about revenge against Pearl and didn’t hear the door open. A tub of ice– cold water was splashed on her, drenching her. Then Tinal
