She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian)

Chapter 54

Chapter 54

Wearing a sapphire blue shirt and coat, he appeared tall and slender from a distance, exuding an

As they drew nearer, they could still make out the face behind the gu vanished, replaced by a look of

Scarlett’s heart was calm, even without any ripples, after seeing him again after so many years. She Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

raised her hand in a symbolic gesture and called out to them, “Thus way!”

Upon seeing her wave her hand in the crowd, the man’s expression momentarily froze

If the Lord were to bad for the city’s west, he had brought people to A Town for a business trip.

He hadn’t anticipated that Napier Group’s staff would be aware of his arrival and insist on sending

someone to greet him and even organize a dinner party.

He was too kind to turn down the request, so he had to agree, not expecting that Scarlett would be the

one to come and get

him

After being momentarily stunned, he quickly regained his composure and led his people to Scarlett.

The man, standing nearly 187 meters tall, was a head taller than her when he faced her

He could only look down at her. “It’s been a while, Miss Sales”

“Miss Sales” had severed their childhood friendship completely.

Scarlett snorted disdainfully and was not courteous to him. She bluntly declared, “Mr. Gatsby, follow

me” She then spun on her heel.

She walked cold-faced in high heels towards the underground parking lot.

The man behind her, upon seeing her look of dislike, frowned slightly

“Miss Sales, he inquired, “are you still mad at me?”

“What right do I have to be mad at you?’ Scarlett stopped abruptly and gazed up at him,

Dev was a little helpless, but he still apologized sincerely. “I apologize profusely, Miss Sales. I’m afraid I

have no recollection of you. That’s why I acted that way five years ago. I sincerely hope you don’t bear

any ill will towards me because of this…” Scarlett gazed up at the face that mirrored Liam’s, and her

tranquil heart was suddenly ripped open.

She really wanted to inquire of Dev whether he had truly lost his memory or was merely pretending not

to recognize her. Five years ago, after he woke up, he found out that she had saved him.

He was still in a frenzy, pushing her onto the bed and passionately kissing her. He squeezed her neck

and accused her of being unfaithful.

When Gatsby Group suddenly encountered the reappearance of the young master they had lost,

Gatsby himself claimed to have lost his memory. Why?

Had he truly lost his memory, why did he declare that when she ran to the Gatsby family and implored

him not to forsake her?

Scarlett closed her eyes, her heart aching as she thought of the two kicks he had given her.

She didn’t believe that Liam had truly lost his memory; rather, she felt that he was rejecting her due to

her perceived uncleanliness.

After being picked up by the Gatsby family, she ran to them daily, disregarding her own dignity. She

knelt before him and repeatedly pleaded to be sold into servitude in order to save him.

He not only disbelieved it, but also raised his heavy leather boots and kicked her in the chest.

He crushed her heart and said sternly. “Don’t use my rescue as an excuse. You are clearly the one who

is inferior!”

She was like a lowly wild dog, humiliated and kicked by him, yet she refused to give up.

She

wept and pulled at his trousers, imploring him not to leave her solely because of their former

relationship.

He bent down and, with a snap, freed his trousers from her tugging fingers.

He looked at her with a mixture of revulsion and vindictive satisfaction.

The pain of her dislocated fingers was far more excruciating than the pain in her heart.

She curled up into a ball and pleaded with him to release her.

Before she could utter a word, he slapped her face once more.

Using all her strength, her face immediately puffed up.

She gazed in disbelief at the man in the suit standing before her.

“Why…”

Having once loved her dearly, why did the Young Master of the Gatsby family beat her to death?

Was it because she didn’t believe he had lost his memory, coming to find him every day and annoying

him, or because he had abandoned his old flame after becoming wealthy?
