Sextuplets From Ruthless Love

Chapter 95

It was pretty late after they wrapped up the snooker session. Then, everyone went out to the beach.

Remembering that Bennett loved eating fish, Jessica went to slice up some raw fish in the kitchen.

When she came out of the kitchen with a plate of raw fish slices, before she could even open the door, she heard a sharp shriek from outside. "Murderer! she's a murderer!"Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

"Oh my gosh! She's killed somebody!"

The two servers shouted loudly all of a sudden. Startled, Jessica had no idea what was going on.

Turning around, she saw a body lying on the ground, blood oozing steadily out of his chest.

She had been mistaken as a murderer.

A crowd quickly gathered around her and the body. She put down the plate and kept quiet.

She did not expect to be mistaken as a murderer again after so many years.

"It wasn't me," she uttered as she was surrounded by a crowd. A bitterness swelled in her heart.

Why?

Why was she always framed?

After so many years, she had forgotten about Samantha.

Why did this happen, causing her to be reminded about that incident once more?

Moments passed, and Trevor joined the crowd. His brows furrowed as he looked at the corpse on the ground.

"Big trouble, Mr. Gulliford, Ms. Lockett killed somebody!" a server went up to report to Trevor.

Slap!

Right after she finished speaking, a sharp slapping noise filled her ears. The blow was so hard that it left a red handprint on her face. "Did you see it with your own eyes?" Trevor asked in a deep voice as he massaged his wrist. He smacked her so hard that he hurt his wrist. "N... No." The server covered her face, completely traumatized.

Even if she reported a false statement, did it warrant such a heavy slap?

"Did any one of you see her stab him?" Trevor pointed at the body, his eyes full of fury.

"No."

"Neither did I."

"I only saw Ms. Lockett coming out with a plate of raw fish slices. I didn't see her kill the man."

The people in the crowd quickly explained themselves, afraid of misspeaking.

"Then who says she's the murderer?" Trevor ng his arms backward a

The two servers who screamed at first walked out before falling onto the ground, terrified.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Gulliford, we made a mistake. We misspoke! Please forgive us!" They dare not disobey, Trevor. Even if they witnessed Jessica stabbing the man, they would say she didn't if Trevor

insisted that was what happened.

Mr. Gulliford of Horington had the power to determine what was truth and fact according to his own volition.

Jessica stood quietly, taking in Trevor's actions. For the first time in forever, her eyes were damp.

This was the first time he believed in her!

Why?

If he had trusted her half as much back then as he did today, she wouldn't have ended this way.

"Trevor, why didn't you protect me back then?" Jessica murmured in her heart.

"Why?" she yelled inwardly. A drop of tear trickled down her face, but she could

"It's all right, I am here," Trevor tried to comfort her.

Looking at her teary eyes, Trevor felt a thorn piercing his heart. "Damn it, which son of a bitch dares to murder someone on my island?" he wondered.

He wanted to embrace her. Yet, when he lifted his foot, he hesitated and planted it back onto the ground.
