Chapter 3728 Luring The Enemy In Deep
With an optimistic attitude, he personally came to report his recent battle achievements to God King.
Upon learning of his wife's death, the God King was eager to avenge her.
Their main army was now almost at the gates of Adversia.
Yet, his emotions inexplicable calmed down.
He listened to Dexter's report with a calm expression, then praised him, "Dexter, you've done well. These battles have demonstrated Gods' power and regained much of our lost honor."
Dexter humbly said, "All of this is due to Your Majesty's wise leadership. I am merely carrying out your commands and dare not take credit."
Medille said, "There's no need for modesty. Excessive modesty is hypocrisy. If it's your merit, it's yours. Once we win this war, you can drop the 'temporary' from your 'temporary Grand Marshall' title. From now on, you are second to one among Gods and superior to thousands!"
Dexter's eyes lit up. Unable to hide his excitement, he quickly said, "Thank you, God King."
Medille said flatly, "It's too early to say thank you now. You must keep going still. Stay grounded and eliminate all enemy forces steadily."
Dexter replied, "Yes!"
Medille stood up, leading Dexter and the others out of the temporary command post. He looked at the sky and the surroundings outside, before asking, "Where are we now, and how far are we from the city of Adversia?"
Dexter quickly said, "We're about to reach Rainbow Canyon. The scouts have reported that Hepburn is rallying her defeated troops and has called in a new batch of vampires. She's regrouping and preparing to wage war against us once again. All we need to do is defeat Hepburn once more, and the vampire army will likely lose their ability to fight completely. When the time comes, we will cross the Rainbow Canyon, besiege Adversia, and capture Nathan alive."
Upon hearing this, Medille slightly furrowed his brows. He had a nagging feeling that something was off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was.
Dexter noticed a change in Medille's complexion and quickly asked, "Your Majesty, what's wrong?"
Medille said, "I have a niggling
feeling that something is not quite right. The vampires are no match for our God Clan, that much is clear. But the combat power of the vampires seems even weaker than we

imagined. And what about the earthling troops brought by Nathan? Why haven't they shown up yet? Could there be some trickery involved?"
Upon hearing this, Dexter was initially taken aback, but then he laughed and said, "God King, I believe all of this can be easily explained. The vampires have never
been a match for Godse
the vampire members led I

Hepburn are primarily the generation from Earth. Given that the primordial vampires are no match for us. The new generation of vampires is naturally weaker, as it should be!"
Medille thought Dexter's words made sense.
Dexter added, "As to why the Earth's
Army led by Nathan has not yet
appeared, I believe it's because Nathan has taken over Adversia, holding both Tribulation Lord and the citizens of Adversia as prisoners. He and the Earth's army must guard the Adversia well, keep a close watch on the prisoners, and prevent any rebellion from the captives. I'm sure he wants to support Hepburn, who's struggling in the battle, but I guess he's just powerless to help!"
After hearing Dexter's explanation, Medell was hit by a sudden realization.
He had no more reservations. Glancing at the time, he saw that it was exactly noon.
He patted Dexter on the shoulder. "Go get ready. We're going to completely crush Hepburn and her vampires. Then, let the mighty army march forward. I hope to make it into the Adversia tonight, I want to have dinner in the city!" Dexter exclaimed loudly, "Understood! I will give it my all, defeat the enemy at the fastest speed, break into the Adversia, and ensure that Your Majesty can dine there tonight!"novelbin
Medille replied, "Go on now!"
Meanwhile, in front of Rainbow Canyon, Hepburn was commanding tens of thousands of vampire warriors, ready for battle.
On either side of her stood Sinistral and Max.
Sinistral said, "Your Majesty, the enemy is almost upon us."
Max said with a grin, "Let's lose one more time, then pretend to retreat. We'll lure the enemy into Rainbow Canyon. Once we do that, our mission will be accomplished." Hepburn squinted her eyes and said, "I hope everything goes smoothly!"
