Rachel didn’t seem to regain her composure until Jordy stopped beside them. Pausing for a moment, she looked up at Jordy with a smile on her lips.

“Mr. Collins, why are you here? What a coincidence.”

Gloria’s gaze fell on Jordy, only to see him look rather calm and hear him reply calmly.

“Well, I have a project to develop here, so I’m here to have a look.”

When he arrived, he stood beside them, without speaking or leaving. Gloria glanced at him, having an odd feeling, “You’re here to check the project site, aren’t you?”

She didn’t want Jordy to stay here, or she couldn’t have a good chat with Rachel.

“There’s no hurry.”

With that, Jordy stood motionlessly, as if he hadn’t gotten Gloria’s implication.

Both Gloria and Rachel were rendered speechless.

Rachel could only compromise. She took a deep breath and looked at Gloria with a smile. “I’ve shown you the general project site. If you’re satisfied with it, you can reach me and we can talk about it.”

That was all Rachel wanted to say. It was a business project between Roberts Group and White Group. Jordy, as the outsider, was in no position to know about it. And she didn’t intend to tell him about it, either.

“It’s late. You should go back,” Rachel said, rather relaxed.

She would like to see what Jordy would do if they left right now.

Rachel turned to leave. With her back to them, her smile faded from her face. She was expectant to meet him when he was not around her. But now, she only felt a pang. The man she was madly in love with was right before her, but she didn’t dare to spare an extra glance at him.
