Mates 50
Mates 50
Chapter 50 KAIDEN STIRLING Throughout the drive, the two little children at the back seat of my car kept playing and reaching for each other and playing around. “You owe me a whole pack of candy!” Harper exclaimed and Francisco only laughed in response. He was still shy. He had probably not had the chance to interact with a lot of people as he grew up. I could not blame Freda for trying to protect her son, but at some point she had to have realized that it was not good for him and despite that, she had kept on locking him in and to herself. I sighed as I turned into the street where the school was located. I pulled over in front of the entrance and Harper and Francisco paused their giggles. “Hold on,” I said, looking back at them and smiling at them. before climbing out of the car and going round to the back where Harper’s side was. “Princess treatment for the princess,” I said with a grin and kissed her cheek as I unbuckled the car seat and took her out of the seat. “Thanks daddy,” she said with a smile and took her little school bag from me. She stood to the side, waiting patiently as i took Francisco out of his seat and then set him beside her. He smiled at her and ruffled his hair. He was so adorable and it pained me that I had kissed out on Chapter 50 the most of his life. It was my fault that Freda was wary of me, but it still hurt. He liked me. I knew that, but he was still not completely comfortable with me. I planned on making him completely comfortable with me because I wanted to be in his life from now till whenever I would not be able to anymore. I shut the door and handed him his bag. “Come on, kiddos,” I said, taking one of each of their hands in mine and walking towards the entrance of the school. Harper started a song and Francisco joined in. It seemed they had taught them the song in school. Once we were at the main entrance, I let go of their hands. Harper immediately grabbed Cisco’s hand and hopped forward. Francisco was laughing and hurrying so he could meet up with her. She
was so energetic. Francisco seemed like the type of kid that would love his quiet and Harper was the opposite. Yet they seemed like the would be friends for a long time. I loved that, because when they got older, it would be easier for them to accept each other as siblings. “Good morning, Alpha,” a lady said and gave a subtle nod of her head. She was one of the middle class wolves. I have her a smile in response. My two children had the ability to bring me to a great mood no matter how annoyed or in a bad I was. “Are you by any chance Francisco’s father?” She asked with a -look of curiosity in her eyes. A protective instinct automatically rose in me and I tilted my head to the side. “Why do you ask?” I asked her. “He just enrolled and he’s only ever been dropped by his mother, We have a party coming up 11:33 Chapter 50 and I did not really know how to ask her about his father so I could invite her and him,” she said with a small smile. She touched her chest in a hurry, oh and I’m his teacher.” Her smile widened. “Oh,” I said, thoughtfully considering her words. I was not sure if Freda would be happy if I revealed myself as Francisco’s father. After careful consideration, I realized that that would seal it and make it official. She was definitely not going to like it, and it was selfish of me to consider this but I could not help thinking about it. “I’m his father,” I said with a curt nod. Her smile widened and she stepped closer. “Nice to meet you, as Francisco’s father,” she said with a small smile. I could not help my chuckle. At least she had a sense of humor. “Tell me more about this party,” I said and she nodded. “Oh well, it’s for the kids. We like to give them a small celebration after the last day of school. It helps them to appreciate and look forward to school more,” she said and I nodded thoughtfully. That made a lot of sense. I was going to ask more questions later. “That’s great,” I said and she nodded. “If you need
sponsors or anything, you can always come and find me,”I told her and she smiled gratefully. “Oh well, they’re all yours,” it was only after I had told her how great the idea of the party was that I noticed that Francisco and Harper had been standing at the entrance and watching the two of us talk. She looked at them and laughed. “Of course, Alpha,” she said and took both of their hands, leading them into the school Chapter 50 building. I headed back to my car, started it and drove off in the direction of the pack house. I made sure to pass the way I had gone through in the morning to make sure that Freda had gone and she as safe. I did not see any car of her car. I wanted to see her and hold her hand again, but I knew that she would only push me away. I sighed. My thoughts diverted to the party that the teacher had talked about. D**n, I had not even asked for her name. She sounded like she had already mention led the party to Freda but Freda had not said anything about Francisco’s father and that had been the reason for her worry. I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. Freda had not mentioned anything about the party to me and I realized it. She definitely was not going to. She was hell-bent on keeping me out of her and Francisco’s life. I was going to have to work harder.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
