Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 829 Rosalind and Jesse both have headaches

Fernand’s parents looked at Jesse menacingly, they now blamed Jesse for the whole thing.

Vergil, who was on the sidelines, felt that this was too much and he wanted to speak up but was stopped by Jesse’s look.

“It’s our responsibility, we didn’t handle it properly, about Fernand, we will try our best to find and save him, but if it’s because of you that you ruined our plan, we can’t help you.”

“You’re shirking your responsibility!” Fernand’s father said angrily.

“You are no match for Alex, and acting rashly will only harm Fernand, I hope that is clear to you.”

With those words Jesse and Vergil leave.

“Mr. Pascall, you might as well just tell them the truth.” Vergil said a little angry.

“The truth is what? The truth is that Fernand was supposed to replace me and I was the optimal solution for Alex.”

“But you can’t say that, they enjoy the glory and benefits of the Pascall Group, risk and reward go hand in hand, how can you enjoy the rewards and not take the risks? Do they really think that Pascall Group can still be so honorable without your support in the Pascall family?”

Vergil was too angry and felt that Fernand’s parents were more or less unaware of the situation.

“Forget it, their current mood is understandable, I won’t bother with them.” Jesse could understand the sadness and anxiety of the two old men, as he would do the same just thinking about how he would treat everyone as an enemy if something happened to Nydia or if something happened to his two children, “Any news from Frederick’s side?”

“No, Frederick says he has no clue, I guess he’s hiding deep this time and it’s not that easy to find.”

“Tell him not to be anxious, this matter can’t be rushed, we can find it with a different mindset, the normal mindset definitely won’t work.”

The second hiding place definitely won’t be that easy to find, it should be in a very hidden place.

“They retreated in a hurry last time, if they pay close attention, I think there will be clues left behind.”

Even if they wanted to eliminate the traces, it would be hard to do so 100%, it was just that they had to be careful, or else they could easily miss the key clues.

As he was talking, Jesse’s head hurt again.

“Mr. Pascall, are you okay?” Vergil asked worriedly.

“It’s fine.” He hurriedly took out the pills Nydia had prepared for him and swallowed one, then put another in his mouth before pressing his head to slow down the pain.

“You seem to be in pain more and more frequently.”

“Don’t tell Mrs. Pascall.”C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

“You’re hiding it like this, if Mrs. Pascall finds out …”

“Who are you with?”

Vergil immediately stopped talking, okay, Mrs. Pascall now critical period of pregnancy, indeed can not worry too much, Mr. Pascall said can hold out should not be too big a problem.

It was almost five minutes before Jesse’s headache subsided a bit.

These five minutes were very difficult for him, he had a lot of cold sweat on his back and head, which directly soaked his clothes.

He was a person with a strong ability to endure pain, and if he couldn’t even endure it, it meant that it really hurt.

Although he wanted to hide it from Nydia, when he got home, Nydia realized that the medicine was low when she checked it.

“How many headaches?”

Jesse froze in realization.

“Once.”

“It hasn’t been long between the last headache and today’s headache, so how can it be so frequent?”

“Tonight you’ll zap me again, I actually don’t think this one hurts as much as it did before.”

Nydia narrowed her eyes; she thought Jesse was lying.

But she didn’t pursue it any further and waited until the evening to zap him.

It was actually a lot of work to stick the needle in, it wasn’t an easy task for her with her pregnancy, but she had to push through it even harder so that Jesse could get better.

Jesse got a good night’s sleep.

The next day Andrew and Rosalind came to visit Nydia.

They came over to visit when they realized that Nydia couldn’t go to the old mansion now that she had a big pregnant belly and couldn’t move around.

Nowadays Rosalind and Nydia’s relationship is a lot better, but it’s just that they don’t fight anymore, but to say how close they are is not there, and that’s good enough for Nydia.

“When is the due date?” Rosalind asked.

“Around August 20th.” Nydia replied.

“Well, that’s two months away, just hold on and you’ll be liberated, that belly is really big.”

Rosalind being a woman could still empathize on the whole pregnancy thing.

“Any stretch marks?”

Nydia nodded, “Some, but not too bad.”

“It’s good that it’s not serious, otherwise some of them would be dense on a belly as big as yours.”

Such a relaxed and cozy atmosphere made Nydia feel comfortable, her parents died early and she had always longed to be cared for by her elders, Rosalind was much gentler nowadays, giving her a feeling that she really did treat her as her mother.

So the atmosphere at the dinner table was good too.

“Grandparents, you can come over here to play more often.” Molly liked the crowd and the heat.

“Okay, come over when you have time grandparents.”

“Or you can stay over here, there are rooms anyway.” Tavish said.

It was kind of hard to run both ways like that.

“Better not, living over here makes it easy to fight with your mommies, distance makes beauty.” Rosalind said this with a bit of a joke, which made Nydia a bit embarrassed.

As soon as Rosalind’s words left her mouth, she suddenly revealed a pained expression, her hand pressed down on her head, it was obvious that she had a headache.

“Mom, what’s wrong?”

“A little headache, nothing.”

Now Nydia was concerned about the headache thing and immediately asked, “What kind of headache? When did it start? How long does it hurt each time?”

Andrew spoke up, “We came over today, firstly to check on you guys, secondly we wanted to see you, she’s always had headaches lately, and the last medical checkup wasn’t much of a problem, so we thought we’d let you take a look at it first, and then go to the hospital for a checkup if there’s anything wrong.”

“Since when?” Nydia immediately took Rosalind’s pulse.

“About half a month or so ago, don’t really remember exactly.”

“I’m not suffering from some terminal illness, am I? You this expression … “Rosalind has begun to worry.

“No, I took your pulse and there’s nothing wrong.”

Rosalind instantly breathed a sigh of relief, she still trusted Nydia’s medical skills now, she felt that there was no problem then there was no problem, so she smiled and said, “I guess it’s just the occasional headache that comes with old age.”

But Andrew noticed Nydia and Jesse glancing at each other, neither of them looking exactly relaxed.

“Do you guys have something to say? Speak up.” Andrew spoke up.

“Mom, your situation is kind of like Jesse’s, Jesse has been having headaches lately too, occasional pains, some of the time they’re bad, some of the time they’re not, we went to get them checked out and there’s nothing wrong with his brain.”

“Then what’s wrong?” Rosalind panicked, “Could it be genetic? It shouldn’t have gotten to this point to be genetic, should it?”

“We haven’t found the cause yet, tell us if you’ve met anyone or eaten anything recently and we’ll analyze it.”

Rosalind shook her head, “I haven’t gone out or come into contact with anyone with all that’s been happening lately.”

“Have you seen Sara?”

“She … hasn’t been seen in a long time, just the last time something happened to Jesse, she came by once and I haven’t seen her since.”

“So she didn’t make you eat anything last time, did she?”

“No, just sat and chatted.”

Jesse was going to tell Rosalind about Sara.

“Mom, it’s not that we’re prejudiced against Sara that we’re telling you this, Sara is Alex’s person.”
