Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 66

Jesse tried to pull his hand away as if he had been electrocuted, but Nydia hugged him tightly.

“Let go!”

“It hurts. You wouldn’t let me call for help, so let me hold onto your arm.”

“….” He felt like she was doing this on purpose

“When you need bandaging, just call me.”

“… ”

The feeling of her arm against his was like waves slowly pushing into his body, making half of his body feel stiff and numb at times.

Fortunately, he had finally finished applying the medicine.

Nydia let go of his hand.

He moved his fingers, which were stiff and unresponsive.

“Jesse, your hand is so hot.” Nydia’s words made his movements freeze. His fingertips were indeed very hot, as if flames were burning inside him. Every time he touched her skin, it seemed like he was igniting a fire, making him restless and uneasy.

“Why do you have to talk so much?” He tried to speak in a cold, hard voice.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

“I was just talking. If you don’t like it, then don’t be mean!” She murmured softly and didn’t say anything else.

Jesse finally finished bandaging her back and breathed a sigh of relief. His forehead was covered in sweat.

He turned around and sat on the wheelchair, not letting Nydia see his strange expression.

Nydia got up and put on some clothes. She still wanted to tease Jesse, but it was almost dinnertime, and they had already lingered in the room for too long.

“This is the medicine. Rub it on your forehead.” Jesse threw the medicine to Nydia.

The collision just now was so strong that it created a bump on her head.

“Your head is so hard. I got a bump, and you’re fine?”

“Did I tell you to collide with me?” He looked at her as if she were a fool.

Nydia was immediately annoyed and held out her wrist. “My wrist is bruised too.”

She meant to say: it’s because you forced me to collide with you.

“You help me apply the medicine. I can’t move my arm.”

Jesse ignored her and turned his wheelchair to leave.

Just then, someone knocked on the door and Molly’s voice came through. “Daddy, Mommy, it’s time to eat.”

Jesse opened the door and found only Molly standing outside. “Molly, your daddy is bullying me!” Nydia immediately shouted.

“Mommy, how is Daddy bullying you?” Molly asked, looking up at Jesse with a serious expression. “Daddy, do you remember how I criticized you last time? I still have your reflection letter!”

Jesse was speechless. “Daughter, are you biased?”

“Daddy, if you bully Mommy again, you will have to read your reflection letter publicly,” Molly threatened.

Nydia couldn’t help but laugh, but when she noticed Jesse’s gaze, she covered her mouth and looked at him innocently.

She stood up and walked over to Molly. “Molly, let’s give Daddy a chance to make amends by having him help Mommy apply medicine. Then we’ll forgive him, okay?”

“Okay!” Molly nodded like adult and looked at Jesse sternly. “Mr. Pascall, do you accept this opportunity to make amends?”

Jesse was speechless again.

Nydia tried to stifle her laughter and stepped in. “Molly, why don’t you go ahead and have dinner first? Mommy and Daddy will be there in a bit.”

“Okay, but Daddy, you can’t bully Mommy anymore, okay? Mommy, you have to report Mr. Pascall’s behavior to me later,” Molly said before leaving.

Jesse thought to himself, “No more war movies at home from now on!”

After Nydia closed the door, she handed him the medicine and said, “Mr. Pascall, apply the medicine.”
