Chapter 33
What a tsundere child.
After telling them a story to make them fall asleep, Nydia went back to her own bedroom.
She wanted to investigate Tavish’s previous drowning incident.
“Teacher, sorry to disturb you so late. Are you asleep?” Nydia asked.
“No, what’s the matter?” the teacher replied.
“Can we talk on the phone?” Nydia asked.
Soon, Nydia’s phone rang.
“Nydia, it’s been a long time,” the slightly cocky voice was very familiar to her.
“Teacher, it’s been a long time. I came here looking for your help, and I will come to see you in a while,” Nydia said. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
“Why so polite? You come to see me, but I’m not free,” the teacher replied.
“?” Are all the men these days so tsundere, whether they are adults or children?
“Let’s talk about the matter. It must be important if you’re looking for me,” the teacher said.
“Teacher, do you know any good hackers? I want to see some surveillance footage,” Nydia asked.
“Oh… well, I think there are some. Even if I don’t know them, my friends do. I’ll ask them for you, and I’ll give you an answer tomorrow,” the teacher said.
“Okay, thank you, teacher,” Nydia said.
“Alright, you show your filial piety by practicing your cooking skills!” the teacher said.
“I understand, I won’t let you down,” Nydia said.
After hanging up the phone, Nydia knew that there would be good news tomorrow, so she slept peacefully.
The next morning, after breakfast, Molly looked at Jesse seriously.
“Daddy, come with me, I have something to say to you,” Molly said.
This action surprised the whole family.
Jesse looked at Tavish, who shook his head to indicate that he didn’t know what was going on, and followed Molly to a place where no one was around.
“Daddy, how could you bite mommy?” Molly asked, hands on her hips.
Jesse was stunned, this…
“You are wrong, how can you bully mommy? This is… this is… what my brother said before, it’s domestic violence, it’s wrong, daddy, you can’t do domestic violence!” she said, frowning and wracking her brain to remember.
“…”
“You are right, Molly. I won’t do it again. Biting mommy was not intentional, but an accident,” Jessie said, “Daddy promises not to do it again,”
Seeing Jesse’s good attitude of admitting his mistake, Molly nodded in satisfaction.
“Then that’s it. Write a reflection tomorrow and give it to me!” she said, hands behind her back, leaning forward slightly, just like a teacher scolding a student.
Jesse never thought that the first reflection he would write in his life would be for his daughter?
“What? Daddy doesn’t want to?” Molly asked.
“I want to. How does Teacher Molly want Daddy to write it?” Jesse asked.
“Write it seriously and apologize to mommy,” Molly said.
“Okay…”
Jesse obediently took the pen and wrote his promise on paper. When he saw the last sentence, Nydia’s heart sank: If I bully Nydia again without reason, I will fail the bid.
That’s right! Tomorrow is the day of the bidding!
