Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1950

Chapter 1950

In the evening, Tina and Wilson went to the hospital together.

All the other members of the Amery family were in the hospital.

After Old Madam Amery was sent to the hospital for an examination, the doctor suggested that she be hospitalized for two days. After all, she was old, so it was safer for her to be subject to medical observation.

The Amery family booked a VIP ward for the Old Madam. When Tina and Wilson arrived, Lin went out of the ward to fetch some water.

Tina looked inside the ward.

Old Madam Amery was lying on the bed with her eyes closed. There was a needle on the back of her hand. It seemed that she had fallen into sleep because of the drug effects. Old Master Amery and Bill were sitting on the sofa near the bed, while their faces seemed to be unhappy.

It seemed that they were still very angry with Abby.

Tina asked Lin softly, "Teacher Lim, is Old Madame alright?"

Lin heaved a long sigh and replied, "Her blood pressure has been stabilized, but the doctor said that the emotional shock she had gone through was not small. It's better for Old Madam to stay in the hospital for two days! It's nothing serious. You don't have to worry. Old Madam is too sad this time!"

Tina nodded. "Uh-huh."

How could the Old Madam not be sad and angry after she realized that Abby had treated her like a fool?

As soon as they finished speaking, Old Madam Amery seemed to have woken up inside the ward.

Seeing this, Lin quickly turned back to the ward.

Tina and Wilson looked at each other, and then followed her in.

While she was trembling, Old Madam Amery opened her eyes, looked around first, and then looked at Bill. She asked, "Where is Abby?"

Bill frowned. "She's at the police station now."

Abby was taken away by the police in the morning, and the police had a warrant of arrest against her. It was impossible for her to leave the detention center.

In the next step, the court would initiate legal proceedings against her. Abby was suspected of crimes such as selling prohibited goods in Lonton City, which was of a transnational feature and had a very bad impact, as well as stealing the official seal of the Amery's Group.

In case any of the aforesaid crimes was confirmed, Abby would have to face a wretched future.

Old Madam Amery pursed her lips.

She was now roughly aware of what Abby had done. While she was being transferred to the hospital from the Amery's Group, she had caught a glimpse of the policemen.

Old Madam Amery was silent for a long time, and then she said again, "Hire a good lawyer for her!"

Bill replied angrily, "Mom, do you still want to protect her? What did she do? And what did she say? Don't you know that? She is an ungrateful and disobedient girl!"

"I know!" Old Madam Amery gritted her teeth, while the wrinkles on her face were trembling. Her voice was hoarse and sad. "But after all, she was raised up in our family, and it was I who took her

to our family. Now she has made such a large mistake, but we also have the responsibilities in this!"

Tina noticed that Old Madam Amery's eyes were filled with tears.

Bill and Lin had no children of their own, so Old Madam Amery took her grandniece back to the Amery family.

Abby came to the Amery family while she was still a little child. It was because of Abby that Old Madam Amery could enjoy the happiness of raising a grandchild. Moreover, as Abby was a clever girl, she learned everything quickly and well. She was so excellent and well-behaved that the Old Madam took pride in her and loved her deeply.

This time, Old Madam Amery was really sad for what Abby had done.

Old Madam Amery came from a rich and powerful family. When she was a child, she was loved and doted by the elders. When she was a young lady, she was admired by a great many young men. After she got married to Old Master Amery, she was respected by others. Throughout her life, she had actually seldom met any setback. Abby was almost the first person in Old Madam Amery's life that brought her such a heavy blow and the feeling of complete failure.

At the very beginning, Old Madam Amery was very tolerant of what Abby did or said, thinking that she only behaved like a child vying for doting love from the elders.

For this reason, even after Bill drove Abby out of the Amery family, the Old Madam still tried every means to console her.

Abby even committed crimes in order to defeat Tina. She also conspired to seize all the shares of the Amery's Group by taking advantage of the Old Madam's trust in her. It was not until she overhear Abby's appalling words that Old Madam Amery finally realized that Abby was such an ungrateful and disobedient girl.

Old Madam Amery's heart was full of bitterness.

She seemed to have aged several years in just one single day. She continued slowly, "Hire a good lawyer for her... I have already tried my best to take care of her. In the future... whether she's still alive or not, she has nothing to do with the Amery family. I don't want to see her again!"

After that, she closed her eyes, as if she had become disheartened.

Seeing this, Bill finally nodded in agreement.

Tina, who was listening to their conversation nearby, was a little surprised.

She originally thought that Old Madam Amery would not easily forgive Abby, as the latter had disgraced the whole Amery family with her disobedient deeds. The Old Madam had a bad temper, and she was extremely angry and disappointed with Abby.

Unexpectedly, Old Madam Amery was still willing to hire a lawyer for Abby.

Tina suddenly found that there was still some kindness in Old Madam Amery's heart.

It was soon midsummer again, and the wedding day was approaching.

Although all the preparation works for the wedding ceremony were undertaken by Wilson, who didn't want Tina to participate in the preparations, Tina was still nervous and expectant every day.

Before the wedding ceremony was held, Tina and Wilson didn't forget to find a day to come to the cemetery.

They wanted to visit the grave of Ovia Huff, Tina's mother, and "tell" her this good news.

Now, Wilson and Tina had registered their marriage at the Civil Affairs Bureau. They had become husband and wife according to law. Wilson behaved more seriously than before. Before the two of them left the cemetery, Wilson knelt on the ground and kowtowed to the tombstone three times to pay respects to Ovia.

At the beginning, Tina even teased at Wilson's seriousness, yet she was finally touched by Wilson's sincerity.

If it weren't for the reason that they were in a cemetery, Tina would have kissed Wilson as a prize.

After that, Tina and Wilson went back the same way they came.

When they passed by a place, they happened to see an acquaintance.

It was Amin Stark. He was dressed in a suit of dark clothes, and was still as handsome and gentle as ever. He got down on one knee in front of a grave, and on the tombstone there was a photo of a young girl.

Tina noticed that Amin did not cry this time.

He just put a bundle of daisy in his hand near the tombstone, and then wiped the photo with a handkerchief. There seemed to be a faint smile on his face.

However, Amin was no longer as sad as before, as if he was missing and recalling the girl in the photo.

When Amin stood up, he saw Tina and Wilson.

After greeting each other, the three of them walked out of the cemetery together.

Tina asked with a smile, "Amin, I was surprised to see you here."

"Uh-huh." Amin nodded, and looked away from their hands, which had been holding tightly. He then said with a faint smile, "The flower shop owner made a phone call to me and said that she had purchased a new batch of daisies. She liked daisy very much when she was alive. That's why I came over here!"

Tina nodded.

She looked at Amin, and couldn't help recalling the first time she met him in the cemetery. She then exclaimed, "Amin, you are really a sentimental person."

Wilson's smiled in agreement, and he said deliberately, "Well... Sentimental, indeed!"

Amin didn't know what to say next. "..."

The path to the entrance of the cemetery was not long. After walking out of the cobblestone road, they arrived at the parking lot.

Wilson said casually, "By the way, Third Young Master Stark, we're going to hold a wedding ceremony very soon. It will be a small but romantic one. Would you like to attend our wedding ceremony?"

The Chin family and Amery family had reached a consensus regarding the wedding ceremony.

After all, Tina had a nominal marriage with someone else (Amin Stark) before, so the two families didn't want the wedding ceremony to be a high-profile one. They only invited a small number of guests to attend it.

Amin seemed to be a little shocked.

Then, he smiled.

There seemed to be a glimmer of light behind Wilson's glasses. He obviously wanted to show off his love with Tina.

Amin pretended not to have seen it. "Okay."

Wilson added, "Why don't you come and be my bestman if you have time?"

Amin was speechless. "..."

He really wanted to give Wilson the edge of his tongue!
