Please Be Gentle With Me Mr Grant

Chapter 36 Old Mr. Grant’s Justice

Chapter 36 Old Mr. Grant’s Justice

Louise was Carrie’s flesh and blood, and Carrie panicked as well, looking hurriedly at Alan, who was

still fuming.

“Dad, Louise is just a kid. How about you let her off this time … that Blanca is fine, right? We’re all

family. No need to make things so tense.” Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Just a kid? Isn’t Blanca just a kid, too?”

Blanca had already heard the commotion. She had Matthew help her out of the bedroom and into the

living room.

“Grandpa.”

“What are you doing outside, Blanca? Get back in there and rest.”

“I’m fine…”

“You’re fine this time because you got lucky. What if you had no luck?” Alan looked at Louise again.

“Take her inside, Johnson!”

Mr. Johnson’s face was cold as he grabbed Louise’s arm. “Let’s go, Miss Louise.”

After Louise was taken away, Blanca was surprised that Alan would punish his granddaughter so

harshly. She’d just wanted to show Alan Louise’s true face, and have him scold her a bit so she’d wise

up.

Now that Louise was being literally refrigerated, Blanca did feel it was sweet getting back at her, but

she also knew that it was torture. She was about to ask Alan not to shut Louise in too long. It wouldn’t

do to actually kill her.

She’d just said the word “Grandpa” when she was cut off.

“Rest up, Blanca. No need to concern yourself with Louise. She’s gone too far this time. No matter

what, I have to teach her a lesson, or she would only make bigger problems one day.”

With that, Alan patted Blanca on the shoulder.

Blanca opened her mouth, but Alan didn’t give her a chance to make a case for Louise. He turned,

walked outside, and stopped next to Matthew.

“Take care of her for these days, Matthew. If it’s not convenient for you to live here, you can go back to

your place. I’ll have my doctor come in and check Blanca every day.”

“Yes, Grandpa.”

Meanwhile, Louise had already been shut into the storeroom, and she was sobbing as she slapped

against the storeroom door. It was completely frigid, and she took her hand back. They were swollen

and red already, and her tears fell even harder.

“Louise, Louise, don’t panic.”

Carrie’s worried voice came from outside. “Hang in there. When your father gets back, I’ll persuade him

to let you out as soon as possible.”

“It’s so cold in here, Mom. Get me out of here!”

Louise’s sobs continued as Carrie sighed. Her precious daughter was the apple of her eye. She’d

never suffered like this before, and as her mother, she wasn’t happy either.

Recalling how Blanca back there had faked her sympathy as if she was going to plead Louise’s case,

Carrie’s rage was burning, and she muttered to herself, “Don’t worry, Louise, Mommy’s going to chase

that bitch out of the Grant family!”

Louise had been shut in there for an hour already. Carrie was getting frantic.

It was her flesh and blood, after all. If something really happened to her, what was she supposed to do?

“Wilbert, the girl knows she’s done wrong. She’s never been healthy, and if something happens to her,

what am I supposed to do? She’s learned her lesson already. How about we go and plead with Dad to

let her out?”
