Philip Scott was sweating profusely. He looked desperately at Samson, but Samson deliberately ignored him, obviously siding with Linda.
"If anyone has questions, feel free to ask. I've got nothing to hide," Linda said confidently, then added, "I don't mind if you check my background, but can you handle it if I check yours?"
These old-timers had been riding on YK Media's influence in the media industry for years, acting all high and mighty. Even a cursory investigation by Linda could reveal incriminating information about them. Needless to say, many men were often driven by their desires. The entertainment industry was filled with young and attractive new talents, and many inevitably had impure thoughts.
By offering these newcomers a small role, one could easily trade for some pleasure. Who wouldn't be tempted by that?
Everyone present was too frightened to say anything. It was fortunate for them because if they spoke
more, all their wrongdoings would be brought to light.
Wendy still had plenty of files at her disposal. It was clear that Linda had dirt on everyone else, and today
was just a warning shot.
The next moment, her words hit anions like ich to the gut.

"You all know exactly what you've been doing behind closed doors," Linda said, her gaze sweeping across them. 'Come at me whenever you're ready. If you can't find dirt on me, you better toe the line." Her words were an obvious threat. She had the power to act on it.
"Let's end this meeting," Samson said at the opportune moment.
The group dispersed one by one.
Linda glanced at Samson, who was smiling, and intentionally asked, "Did I command the room as you did when you became president?"
Samson smiled affectionately and replied, "You outshone me by far."
*Absolutely, Ms. Felix. You were incredible just now!" Wendy said earnestly.
Linda laughed. "These old-timers bully the weak and bow to the strong. They always try to use YK Media
for their dirty business."
"Nobody's hands are clean in a media company, Samson said.
That was true. Whether it was the company's shareholders or newcomers, most people in this industry found themselves in situations beyond their control, especially the newcomers. They competed fiercely for even the briefest roles on screen and could only resort to such measures to
get ahead.
In the entertainment industry, relationships involving sugar babies and sugar daddies were rampant. Linda had seen it everywhere the past few years, and it had become so frequent that it no longer fazed
her.
"Lexi's dad, are you one of those people, too?" Linda asked intentionally.
"Could I be?" Samson played along. "Lexi can't have a dad with a questionable personal life."

They engaged in idle chatter in the conference room.
Meanwhile, the internet was in chaos.
Ida had already started her mischief. Her façade of being completely innocent would have been solidified if William hadn't intervened. Unfortunately, he disrupted everything.
Chloe also fanned the flames by "accidentally" revealing that Ida had stolen someone else's designs and leveraged the Wilsons' connections to get the jewelry into the auction at Poly. Consequently, Ida was caught up in a new scandal.
