Chapter 3250
Jared said, "Alright, then we'll set it for a month from now." He looked at her warmly.
They had been planning the wedding for a while, and he was just waiting for her to confirm the date.
"Okay," Nicole agreed, feeling sure about her choice.
Thinking about their soon-to-happen wedding made Nicole excited.
Soon after, the car came to a stop.
Seeing they had arrived at Riddle Corporation, Nicole opened the door and got out. "I'm heading up." 'Til pick you up after work," Jared said, his eyes brimming with affection.
"Okay." Nicole smiled brightly and turned to enter the building.
After watching Nicole go inside, Jared instructed Max, "Drive." "Yes, Mr. Johnston." The car started moving, and Max spoke softly, "I'll arrange for someone to reconfirm the wedding party's schedule and all related arrangements once more."
Even though everything was ready, it was best to be cautious as the actual moment approached.
"Good," Jared replied, pleased, then instructed, "Keep the news under wraps for now."
Max hesitated slightly before asking, "Are you concerned Lawrence might interfere?"
A chill flickered in Jared's eyes. Although he wasn't afraid of Lawrence, he wanted everything to go smoothly for their one and only wedding. He didn't want Nicole to experience any unhappiness or regrets.
"Is there any new update from Charlie?" Instead of answering Max, Jared shifted the topic.
"No new updates yet, but he has met with Doretta, discussed some plans and countermeasures. And regarding the situation in Mecrounia, we do have some leads and are in the process of verification," Max paused before adding, "What we can confirm now is that Lawrence is indeed making moves." "Keep an eye on him," Jared's voice carried a hint of coldness.
"Yes," Max responded with a resolute tone.

In the parking basement of Riddle Corporation, another car started to leave slowly.
"Mr. Royce, the Riddle family celebrated yesterday, but today everything's back to usual," Ian said quietly. "It looks like they haven't noticed anything." "We need to stay careful," Lawrence murmured.
"Got it, I'll make sure our team stays alert," Ian replied.
Lawrence's gaze drifted out of the car window as he lost in thought. 'With Everett out of the picture, it looks like Jared hasn't noticed anything.
Maybe it's time to kick off the next phase of my plan, especially since time is running short.'

During lunchtime, Nicole and Lulu met as planned at a restaurant.
Cindy was already waiting for them. She waved as they entered. "Over here.
Once seated, Lulu remarked, "You're quite early." "I’ve just arrived as well," Cindy said, passing the menu to them. "I've picked out some dishes. Do you want to add anything else?"
Reviewing Cindy's selections, Nicole responded with a smile, "No, that's perfect." "It's been so long, and you still remember what we like. It seems you did miss us," Lulu teased with a playful tone.
"Of course, how could I forget you two?" Cindy smiled, handing the menu back to a server. "We'll have these for now."
After the server left, Cindy turned to Nicole and Lulu. "You both look like you've lost some weight, haven't you?" "You, on the other hand, seem to have gained some. Too much happiness lately?" Lulu teased Cindy, giving her a playful nudge. She raised an eyebrow and added, "Come on, spill it. What's going on with you and Martin?"
