Liam snorted, “If you had said she beat you up and threatened you to help her, maybe I would’ve believed it.”

“Celeste looks so skinny and weak, could she really beat you up?” Nicolas asked.

Liam’s nose started to hurt again.

“Are you going to tell me or not? If not, I’m hanging up!” Liam said.

Nicolas stopped beating around the bush and told Liam everything Celeste had asked him to do.

“Celeste really is ruthless. I heard Shawn is bidding on that Riverside Shire project and has put up most of his fortune. He’s counting on Garfield to help him out. If he can’t pull it off, given Garfield’s petty nature, he probably won’t deal with him again, and the bidding project will be screwed. Nicolas clicked his tongue and then called the jewelry store manager.

Celeste went to the recording studio. A friend had asked her to voice a female character in an animated show.

There was still no news about the audition, but since she had nothing else to do, she went over.
