Chapter 13
Chapter 13
Celena’s face was covered in tears and blood as she bit her lips. She could not believe it as she looked at the man with a chiseled face front of her.
When she lost all hope in life, Liam came back! The man she had been missing for seven years finally returned!
She thought of her despair, Jovie, and the criticisms and humiliations. she endured in the past seven years. When she saw Liam’s face, everything boiled over. She could not help but burst into tears.
“You’re finally back! Why didn’t you come back sooner? Jovie wanted to see you!” Celena sobbed.
Liam frantically wiped off her tears. Her face was swollen. The handprints on her cheeks were an eyesore for him. Filled with guilt and heartache, Liam was out for blood.
They deserved to die! Both the Walker and the Stone family deserved to die!
“Who are you? This woman has offended me. You’d better mind your own business!” Trent looked at Liam aggressively while pointing his gun at him.
Liam did not even bother looking at Trent. He simply carried Celena, who was covered in blood, and walked out of the place. His eyes were fixed on her. The guilt that was up over the past seven years came washing over him at the same time.
n the next moment, Liam said in a miserable and hoarse voice, “I’m sorry that I let you endure so much on your own, Celena. I’ll take you home now. Let’s go home to see Jovie.”
Celena nodded weakly as she nestled herself in his arms.
She was incredibly tired at that moment. She was hanging on by herself for seven years. She truly was exhausted.
His warm embrace made her feel a sense of security that she never felt before.
How great it would be if time could freeze at that moment and let her keep nestling in that warm embrace NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
Liam was about to walk past Trent with Celena in his arms.
Trent was infuriated that he was ignored, so he pressed his gun against Liam’s forehead and threatened him, “I’ll put a bullet in your head if you dare to take her away. Listen to me. Before you poke your nose into other people’s business, you’d better find out what’s going on. My family is not a family you can mess with.”
When Trent looked at Liam, he could figure out that he had been the man who was on Celena’s mind for years. He was the father of that illegitimate child. He was his sister’s ex-fiance.
However, Liam simply glanced at him, and that was enough to frighten the screaming Trent so much that he was stunned.
His gaze made him look like the Devil himself who just came straight from hell. It struck fear into Trent’s heart.
Just one look from him made Trent feel like he was on the verge of dying. It was as if he would be killed if that was what Liam wanted.
was
Trent so frightened that he took a few steps back without
realizing it. His hand that held the gun was all sweaty. He stuttered, “I- I know w-who you are. You’re Liam Cole! I’m warning you. Both the police and mafia in Drunham City are at my father’s disposal!”
Upon saying that, Trent seemed to have found his confidence. He got

even more aggressive as he said, “You’d better listen up. If you dare to touch me, you and this b*tch, Celena, oh yes, that b*stard at the hospital too, will all be dead!”
Trent looked at Liam with fear after he said that. He was sweating so profusely that his entire back was completely drenched.
He had no idea why he would be afraid of Liam.
In the past, he would be able to intimidate others once he mentioned his father. However, he still felt terrified after bringing his father up that day.
At that moment, Celena regained her senses. She forced herself to endure the pain and struggled, saying, “Liam, put me down. Hurry up and leave. You don’t need to care about me.
“Go to the hospital. Jovie is still at the hospital. She has been wanting to meet you. Hurry up and go or both of us will not be able to get out
of here.”
Celena made up her mind at that moment. It did not matter if she died as long as Liam was fine.
