Chapter 1365 Are You Jealous
As Charlotte predicted, Trinity Entertainment soon became a trending topic due to tax issues. Everyone
was discussing whether Trinity Entertainment would go bankrupt due to paying fines, and if “Adam's
Garden” could still be watched.
No one talks about Jerry's violent behavior anymore.
Charlotte sat in the car, going over her several negotiations with Brody and the generous results she
had obtained. Her heart couldn't calm down for a long time.
She's truly freaking amazing!
Charlotte called Genevieve with a sweet tone, “Genevieve, where are you? I just closed a big deal!
Let's go shopping and have a spa day!”
“How can you be just like Camilla?” Genevieve was utterly disgusted. She couldn't even stand
Camilla's whiny voice to begin with.
“Comparing me to her is like belittling me, isn't it?”
Charlotte grumbled a bit, then said with a smile, “Thank goodness Genevieve, you just sent me a
message reminding me, otherwise I wouldn't have thought of poaching the director and screenwriter.”
From the very beginning, she focused on the copyright of “Adam's Garden,” but overlooked the fact
that the core of variety show creation lies in the scriptwriting.
Without them, there wouldn't be the fascinating “Adam's Garden.”
Charlotte continued to act cute, “Genevieve, tell me where you are, at the company or at home? I still
have something to discuss with you.”
“Let's talk about it tomorrow,” Genevieve said. “I have a date with Hubby.”
Charlotte choked a little, “Didn't you say you wanted to make two billion in three years? How come
you're not focusing on your work at all? Besides, your child is already six years old. What kind of
meeting are you talking about?”
“What's the rush? We're just starting to make money.” Genevieve scoffed. “Why are you being so bitter
just because you don't have a boyfriend? Even if my child is twenty years old, I'll still go on dates with
Hubby, just to annoy you.”
“Don't you dare call me again, even if the sky falls down today, or else I'll block you!”
As Genevieve stepped out of the building, she spotted a Maybach parked by the roadside. She quickly
hung up the phone and jogged over, pulling open the passenger seat door.
After getting in the car, she asked Armand, “Today isn't a workday, so you don't have to work?”
“Half-day off in the afternoon.”
“No wonder everyone wants to take the civil service exam,” Genevieve remarked as she let Armand
lean in to help her fasten her seatbelt. “Weekends off, holidays off, and sometimes even weekdays off.
There are hardly any working days in a month. Who wouldn't want such a heavenly job?”
After buckling his seatbelt, Armand gave her a kiss and said, “It's just an afternoon off, I have to fly to
Baykeep for a meeting on Saturday.”
Genevieve said, “Then you should go to the hospital to visit Granddad.”
“I know.” Armand drove the car back, a faint and gentle smile on his lips. “It's rare for an old married
couple like us to have a date alone. Where would you like to go?”
“What old married couple?” Genevieve curled her red lips, “I'm not even thirty yet.”
She told Armand about her recent conversation with Charlotte and added, “Dating isn't just a privilege
for young people. When I'm in my fifties or sixties, I still want to go on dates with you every day!”
Armand smiled and nodded as he drove, asking her, “So, Mrs. Faulkner, where would you like to go
and have fun?” NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
Genevieve entered the address into the GPS and said, “You know Mrs. Hossler, right? She's the wife of
the CEO of Exuberance Group. She opened a handmade pottery shop.”
Armand asked curiously, “Isn't she in the entertainment business? Why open a pottery shop?”
“Maybe she wants to cultivate her temperament,” Genevieve shrugged. “I saw her Instagram post, and
the pottery shop seems pretty nice. Let's go have some fun there.”
“All right, let's listen to Mrs. Faulkner.”
Paula's pottery shop is located in the expensive city center, occupying a standalone storefront on the
street. The shop is a duplex, and its interior design is bright and comfortable at first glance.
The first floor offers a variety of vases, cups, porcelain bowls, and other ceramics for sale, while the
second floor is dedicated to a hands-on area where guests can create their own pieces.
After Genevieve and her companion arrived at the pottery shop, the store attendant greeted them and
then led them to the second floor, where they were introduced to the potter. The potters here were all
highly skilled, having been hired by Paula at a high salary.
If guests don't want to get hands-on, they can help them customize any ceramics they desire.
Genevieve glanced around and saw guests sitting at the pottery wheels, their hands covered in clay as
they busily shaped their creations. She turned to Armand and said, “Your daughter would definitely love
this place.”
The two little ones have arrived, and they'll probably stay here for a day.
