My Fabulous Wife

Chapter 9

Chapter 9

Chapter 009 Meet the mom and her son again "Don't say that in front of your father.

And keep distance from that girl and her brother."

Willow reminded in a low voice.

Who knew what nasty places they had been, getting out at night and getting back so late! - That was what Willow actually thought.

Daisy stared at the third floor coldly.

"Got it."

The next day.

Annette and Wancy came downstairs for the meal.

But she was still in a bad mood.

And her mood was getting even worse when the servant did the morning call for breakfast at such an early hour.

Her face evilly reddened with a cold scowl.

Noticing there was someone sitting in front of him from the corner of his eyes, Chris looked up casually and then paused there --The girl lowered her head with her eyes covered by long lashes.

The sullen pale face didn’t dampen her striking beauty.

Shiveport High School was never short of pretty girls.

Some of them from the art classes were even child stars.

Yet none of them could match this girl sitting in front of him.

She was so beautiful that no one would take their eyes off her even when she was in such ordinary and dark dress.

Daisy snorted so lightly that only she herself could hear it.

Veromca's worry grew as he noticed Annette who was exuding grimness throughout her body.

"Didn't sleep well last night?" C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

"Quite bad."

Replying with a hoarse voice, Annette tried to contain her negative feelings by adding bags of sugar into the milk one after another.

So much sugar that Veromca almost started feeling toothache.

Annette then stopped to stir the milk with a spoon slowly.

Her expression warmed up a little after taking a drink of hot milk.

"Less sugar makes your teeth healthier."

Veromca eventually failed to stifle what had been in his mind.

Annette raised her slightly bloodshot eyes.

Bright, black and deep as they were, there was a sort of spooky evilness in them too.

Veromca tried to say something but failed.

Wancy immediately picked an overly sweet cake for his sister.

She was just into unpleasantly sweet things.

She must have been an elf of sugar in her last life, if any.

Veromca coughed, straightened up his body, and made the announcement when he was sure he acted with sufficient dignity.

"Well, Annette, Wancy’s matter is resolved.

They will come to handle it tonight."

Hearing that, Annette raised her eyebrows and wore the first smile of that moming .

"OK.

Thank you for your efforts."

Her acknowledgement sounded very casual.

Glancing over these people at the table who were all decrypting their remarks, Willow pretended not to care about what she asked, "What's Wancy's matter?"

"Getting a school for him.

He is too young to drop out of school."

Veromca replied.

Willow beamed and rubbed Wancy’s head as if she was his elder family.

"Don't let your Uncle Veromca down.

Behave yourself at the new school."

Willow had never impressed Wancy positively, and her touch now galvanized him to make an unnatural smile with disgust in his eyes.

At the crossroads.

Mussing his curly hair, Wancy started cursing, "Quite a bold soul, huh? She dared to touch my head like that!"

As the traffic light turned green, Annette lowered her cap brim to block the sunlight and strolled across the zebra crossings leisurely.

Wancy looked down to the lower end of his clothes and found himself grown out of them.

"Annette, I need some new clothes.

Just that store will do."

He said.

The banner on the window showed: Discount for children’s apparel.

$20 for one and $50 for three.

With her delicate eyebrows arching up, Annette said yes and brought him into the store.

Ray, who was in the passenger seat, saw Annette and Wancy walking into such a shabby store when he was waiting at the crossroads.

His expression looked complicated.

"Waynett, look, that mother and her son."

Waynett at the back seat looked over at them.

The black hoodie and the bright sunlight now rendered her neck extremely long and fair, and her face, extraordinarily beautiful with a hint of danger.
