My Ex-wife's Hidden Personalities

Chapter 456 Freya, You’re a Devil!

Chapter 456 Freya, You’re a Devil!

“Freya!” Helga roared.

Freya crouched down with a smile and said. “Are you about to say again that I will ruin my reputation?”

She leaned closer to Helga, lowering her voice, “Let’s not even mention the fact that you can’t do it, Helga. but even if you can, you’re just a small fish in a massive pond. Do you dare to go against the Kaufmann family, the Monaghan family, or the Marshall family?”

Helga shuddered all over and stared at Freya in shock.

Those who treat others like dogs will also be treated like dogs by those above them. Will Darrin really go against all these families for your sake?” Freya murmured softly, raising Helga’s chin gently with at seemingly gentle tone, but her eyes were grim and chilling. “I can make you disappear without a trace, or you might wake up tomorrow morning to find yourself in a hut in Oclea working as a prostitute. Would you like to give it a try?”

“Y-You’re insane! You’re a devil, Freya, you’re a devil!” Helga screamed as she felt waves of terror creeping down her spine.

This was not the Freya she knew, absolutely not the same Freya!

During their time on the show, Freya, although a bit aloof, had actually helped everyone. Later, she even

freed Leah from her control. Helga had always thought of Freya as a doormat.

If Freya were not born into the Kaufmann family, not their heiress, a trash of such good looks would probably be dead in some remote ditch by now. But now, Helga, staring at Freya’s tempting lips, found her even more terrifying and beautiful.

Freya watched as Helga’s snot ran down her face, and she quickly released Helga’s chin. It was too close for comfort.

She gazed at Helga with a sinister smile, realizing how easily she could scare her. Freya was a legal citizen, but it seemed Helga had an exaggerated view of the power of aristocrats and believed anything she said.

Freya got up and walked toward the door. When she reached the door, she opened it swiftly, coming face- to-face with a young female reporter, who immediately turned to run.

Freya grabbed the back of the reporter’s collar in time and took a gander at her intern badge. She smirked. in response.

The young reporter stammered, “Miss Kaufmann, 1-1-1…”

“No worries, I understand. It’s for your probation.” Freya smiled. “I won’t take your phone, but you need to give me a copy of your recording.”

Inside the room, Helga heard the commotion from outside and turned her head abruptly.

Freya smiled at the young reporter and said, “I noticed you were watching me and Helga in the hall. You have quite the courage.”

The adorable young reporter blushed. She had listened to the whole conversation and, too, believed that Helga was the villain. Coupled with her admiration for Freya, the young reporter agreed readily. “It’s cool. I’ll give you my phone. You can return it to me once you’re done with it!” Freya took the reporter’s phone with a smile and sent a copy of the recording to herself.

Freya had known all along that someone was recording outside, so when she intimidated Helga, she adjusted the volume, ensuring it wouldn’t be captured in the recording. But if the volume was amplified

a hundredfold, it might be a different story.

After sharing the recording. Freya trimmed the section where she had threatened Helga and then returned the phone to the young reporter,

She was about to leave but paused for a moment. “Which media company are you from?”

“Unity Media.”

Freya nodded. “Are you interested in joining Summerzone?”

Summerzone Entertainment was a media company under the Kaufmann Group, much larger than the company the reporter was currently interning with. Besides, her idols, Aya Cole and Ryan Marshall, were also affiliated with Summerzone Entertainment.

Seeing the reporter’s silence, Freya added, “You can also consider Star Media. It’s under Monaghan Group.”

“I’d like to join Summerzone Entertainment!” The young reporter cagerly nodded.

Freya smiled. “You can forget about returning to Unity anymore. I worry you’ll face repercussions for recording something like this.”

It was then that the reporter came around. She looked into the room only to meet Helga’s resentful gaze, startling her. She finally realized why Freya offered her a spot in Summerzone Entertainment. She was looking out for a nobody like her.

The reporter, with her phone in her hands, was moved to tears.

Freya made a final suggestion, “Since it’s a scoop you discovered on your own, you should be the one to break the news.”Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

She took a copy from the reporter, just as a precaution.

Freya left with the young reporter.

Helga sat in the room for a while, struggling to get up. But Freya’s slaps had been numerous and forceful, making her head spin, and she sat back down.

“M-Mr. Donnelly!”

Back in the banquet hall, Freya saw Radley, who had been waiting on the side. She greeted him with a smile and waved her phone, saying, “All sorted. Let’s go.

With a hint of a smile in his eyes, Radley replied, “Sure.”

As they were about to leave, Darrin and Melodie noticed and walked over.

“Are you leaving so soon, Mr. Monaghan? There’s still a while before the banquet ends,” Darrin said, glancing at Freya a few times.

She was undeniably attractive, though her posterior wasn’t as ample as he liked. He preferred someone with a figure like the Kardashians. That said, her facial features were to his liking. Unfortunately, he couldn’t afford to provoke the Kaufmann and Monaghan families. But if someday he could bring both families down…

Darrin squinted his eyes, his gaze revealing a somewhat lascivious desire.

Radley took a step forward, positioning himself in front of Freya.

Darrin suddenly came to his senses and met Radley’s expressionless and icy eyes.

Being over a foot taller than Darrin. Radley looked down at him with a condescending demeanor.

“Darrin, you want to be the top dog in Caltun, right?” Radley inquired.

Darrin was taken aback. Radley had been polite that day, and he thought he was showing respect to the Donnelly family. But this question seemed rather impolite, didn’t it? Darrin felt a sense of being underestimated.

“It was just a jest, but who knows, maybe it will come true someday, right, Mr. Monaghan?” Darrin squinted his eyes.

Radley nodded. “In that case, from now on, count your blessings.”

While the Monaghan family and the Kaufmann family were the two major conglomerates in Caltun, essentially supporting the entire city’s GDP, they had never engaged in any behavior that suppressed other companies. Both families were highly self-assured, and their products, management, and brands were excellent in various industries. Other companies couldn’t catch up, no matter how hard they tried. Therefore, even though the Donnelly Group had established its subsidiary in Caltun for over a decade, Radley didn’t pay much attention to this pesky fly buzzing around.

But now, things were different. Since Darrin dared to invest in Helga and confront Freya, there was no need to tolerate it any longer.

Holding Freya’s hand, Radley exited the venue. The hot breeze outside blew over them, and Freya stretched lazily. “Summer has really arrived.”

Connor was already waiting outside in the car. Radley and Freya got in.

Freya played the recording from the young reporter in the car.

Radley’s expression became even more somber. Even Connor in the front seat tightened his fists.

Seeing Radley’s displeasure, Freya chuckled. “I actually took a page out of Helga’s book and edited out the second half.”

“Hmm? What did you edit out?”

Freya grinned. “I intimidated her with a few words and gave her lots of slaps. My hand almost went numb.”
