Mira's pov
Of course I am stunned, I had not expected him to kiss me. I had not expected him to take well what was his.
Before I knew it, I am following his lead, moaning at the taste of him while he grunts and pull me closer. His tongue lapped around mine and as he dipped his tongue in my mouth to brush against mine I shivered.
From just the taste of him, the feel of his lips on mine, I could feel him even in my bones. It's a strange feeling, but a good one.
And when he pulls away, rest his forehead on mine and smiled that boyish grin that made my heart skip, I wanted more.
"Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Too many years holding myself back, I couldn't anymore." He breathed, eyes closing as if he was in pain and then peeled them open to stare at me deeply. "Please tell me this was your first kiss."
I am breathing roughly from the way he took my mouth and I had to take a minute to get my breathing and my heart under control.
When I do, I nod shyly. Was it that bad? I wasn't sure if I had to twirl my tongue more or not. It was a bit hard to
His grin was wide with relief and he made an appreciative sound at the back of his throat. "It was mine too."
His words surprised me and I pulled away from him to stare at him in shock and confusion. "You've had girlfriends."
He smiled. "None that I've kissed. I had been saving this one for you." I noticed a light flush in his neck and the tip of his ears and my heart squeezed.
He lifted a hand in his hair and scratched the back of his head. "Actually, I've been with those girls to make you jealous," he admitted, the pink flush on his neck crawling quickly to his face. He looks adorable red and my heart skips.
"Nothing ever happened with them. I've been," he winced. "I know it sounds cliche, but I was waiting for you to finally notice me Mirabella."
His admission was like a punch in the gut, not because I didn't like it but the realization that he tried to make me see him and I kept pushing him away fucking destroyed me.
I don't know what to say to him because now I feel even more guilty for pushing him away all this time.
"I-
I started but stopped to swallow the lump in my throat. It's painful to know that there was someone who loved me enough to wait but I stupidly pushed him away in fear of this alien feeling.
"You don't have to say anything," he smiled shyly, his cheeks so red it's quite adorable. "Everyone thought I was a player. Kind of stupid I took the cliche approach to make you jealous."
I bit my lower lip.
"Were you?" He asked after a little pause.
My brows furrowed. "Was I?"
"Were you ever jealous when you saw me with those girls?" He cleared his throat and looked away in embarrassment.
I smiled. I couldn't help it. The stupid boy who always got on my last nerves, seeing this side of him warmed me in ways I didn't think would be possible.
"I was." I admitted, my own cheeks flushing and I gave out a little giggle to not feel too embarrassed about the confirmation. "I've always liked you too Ryan."
He beamed and looks visibly relieved then picks up his bag he had dropped from the bleachers and unzips it while looking at me with narrowed eyes. "You had better been telling the truth this isn't for you."
I rolled my eyes, smiling. "I just gave you my first kiss. Do you think I was bold enough to have sex?"
Ryan licked his lower lip as he pulled the three tests out of his bag. He was smart enough to keep them in a brown paper bag so no one would notice right away.
" Good. I'll be your first in this too." He winked and handed me the brown paper bag. "Whoever this is for, I wish them luck in whatever way they want it to go."
I nod. "Thank you," I peered into his eyes shyly, still unsure if this was a dream or not. That Ryan, my brother's best friend was standing there looking at me with an intense emotion of fondness. "For everything."
He beamed, his eyes twinkling. I gripped the brown paper bag and unsure what to say after that, I murmured a shy goodbye and turned around to leave.
"Hey Mira," Ryan called out before I got a good distance away from him.
I whipped around. "Hmm?"
He grinned, showing me his white pearly teeth. "One more kiss before you leave?"
I bit my bottom lip, feeling flustered but nod anyway because who am I kidding? I wanted to kiss him more too.
His grin broadened and he eats up the distance between us, pulling me in his arms and kissing me like his life depended on it. When he pulls away we are both out of breath.
"Don't forget our date tonight. Tonight I'll ask you to be my girlfriend or should I ask now? I've grown to be impatient with you Mira." He brushed a few of my strands away from my face. Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
I giggled, pulled away and smacked him on his chest playfully. "How about you make it more romantic? After all, I've waited all my life to be yours." With a wide grin I turn around and practically skipped down the bleachers. I was so happy.
